We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Sans Succi Hotel. The rooms were very well appointed and the spa/pool facilities are fantastic. Don't miss the 20m indoor lap pool in the spa. The location is also superb. A special thank you to Matthias at the front desk for his exceptional help during our stay, as well as Mena Ibrahim for his wonderful service in the restaurant at breakfast each morning.
Our stay at Hotel Sans Souci was nothing short of amazing! It is right on the edge of the 'Historic Centre of Vienna' and also perfectly located to take public transport to the 'Palace and Gardens of Schönbrunn' UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Famous attractions such as the Belvedere Palace, the Vienna State Opera, the City Hall, and the shopping street Kärntnerstrasse were all nearby. We were welcomed with excellent service and friendly staff. Our second-floor room was stylish and quiet, with a huge mirror hiding the TV on one wall. The large work desk was useful for us as we were doing some remote work. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the breakfast was amazing - champagne breakfast, to be exact. As the weather was cold during our visit, the downstairs spa was a blessing. We had a great stay at Hotel Sans Souci and would highly recommend it.…
The hotel was beautiful and conveniently located. Every staff member was friendly, professional and extremely helpful. The breakfast, included when booking a room, was outstanding. Breakfast included not only a variety of delicious pastries and breads, but also cold and hot entrees, eggs to order and a lovely glass of champagne. A truly wonderful place to stay when visiting Vienna.
The Sans Souci provided an incredible travel experience for my family and I. The experience pre-check in with Florain to check out was professional, pleasant and exceptional. Myrthe and Mena who assisted us during breakfast were excellent hosts and represented the spirit and ethos of the Sans Souci. I want to thank the Sans Souci and all the incredible staff for making our experience so memorable and enjoyable.
Friendly helpful staff, with nice little personalised touches at every step (example complimentary bottle of champagne for New Year’s Eve). Comfortable rooms, nice variety of food at breakfast (love the later hours on New Year’s Day). The hotel design was tastefully done. Would gladly stay here again.
To Visit Vienna while staying at the Sans Souci was a very very nice experience. Close to the center of the old city and underground U-Bahn closeby. The hotel was exquisite, loved the breakfast, a cosy bar and perfect rooms, welness and extremely kind and very helpfull staff. We loved it 😍
The staff members are friendly and accommodating. They gave us great recommendations regarding local restaurants and Christmas Markets. Christmas Eve Dinner at the hotel was lovely. The rooms are quite large by European standards - we were most comfortable and would definitely stay again.
The hotel is beautiful but lacks atmosphere and some of the small touches that can make a huge difference. Despite knowing well in advance no effort was made to give access to the room even a few minutes early. Whilst it was a busy time, we noticed others arriving were able to access rooms early. The bar area didn’t open until later in the day so the only social area to wait was the small lobby area which had no music or anything playing to give a warm ambience. Most of the time there were a number of team members looking like they didn’t have much to do but other times just one person and a queue of people. When we did go into the bar the first glass of champagne we were served was from a previously opened bottle and was flat. Replaced easily but not what we’d expect. Concierge had been helpful throughout but at the end didn’t complete a booking request leaving us underwhelmed and disappointed. This was a shame as generally all of the team were good although a more personal touch - using the guest name would be more welcoming. We only notice Mr Milan making an effort to do so. We had to report a maintenance issue in a room which should have been noticed prior to us checking in and one room had no luggage rack so the case stayed on the floor - I would have expected housekeeping to notice. At check out I was not offered a bill to review. Just a verbal run down of charges ie, bar, breakfast, minibar. I could have been charged anything. Overall we had a lovely stay and there was no issue big enough for me to not want to stay again, but it wasn’t good enough to rate 5*…
I was very happy with the efficiency and helpfulness of the staff. Rooms were beautiful clean and tidy. The hotel was well situated next to public transport and in good areas for winter markets. My only problem was the restaurant, we ordered a well done steak which came pouring blood which was at best medium rare, we sent it back and the so called chef sent it back 15 mins later in edible burnt to a crisp.
Service was amazing and friendly, rooms and spa were beautifully designed. Relaxing and modern design without being cold or minimalist. Intimate, boutique hotel with yummy food and coffee. Overall, strongly recommend.
