Firstly, the stay at RC itself was great, location is perfect and staff at front desk and concierge are helpful, after sales team also had good comms via email, so hopefully my issues were a one-off. Before arriving, I contacted the hotel to arrange spa treatments and firm up allergy issues - the spa treatments were booked on the wrong day by reception and by the time this was picked up, our only available day was sold out - no apology or follow up from the hotel. We booked the RC specifically due to the location and spa facilities and this was a special occasion so quite costly direct - plans scuppered and despite follow up when we arrived home which was appreciated (though we were promised a follow up for a future stay in Abu Dhabi that didn't happen!), I expected a much better customer service from, the RC chain. Outside of these issues, the room and bathroom were lovely, the pool area itself is worth a visit if you have time, and Dstrikt steakhouse is a great restaurant, so not all bad, just check and double check any requests you make!…

I have stayed there before in 2016 too. We are not very adventurous travelers. We love to relax as well as enjoy hotel and the lounge. We are from UAE where we have everything world has to offer. It has amazing hospitality we are sort of spoiled. But the hotel was amazing they really took good care of us. While checking in we were sent to the lounge later we had our coffee by the time the receptionist prepared the paper work. It was such and amazing amazing lounge perspective after traveling for 7 hrs. We immediately got relaxed and ready to go out again. We never felt like having dinner outside always had our dinner in lounge. The breakfast was amazing and so was the staff. We were there for 4 nights. Every day was a different spread of food in lounge. Even the concierge was very helpful in planning our days. Everyone from the gate to the room were very friendly will definitely come back to the same hotel with my kids too. Great work RC Vienna keep it up. It Ta a real hospitable environment.…

I recently had the opportunity to spend two nights at the Ritz Carlton Vienna. The hotel visit was superb and I can say I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable visit to Vienna at a five star hotel that checks off all the boxes of what one would expect. The rooms are more than ample sized (especially after having just finished a visit to Paris where they are tiny on average) and the cleanliness throughout the room was immaculate. I somehow received an upgrade to a better category room which had a nice balcony that allowed me to open up the door a bit for fresh (cold) air--which I loved. The bathroom is the highlight I think--gorgeous black and white and grey marble throughout. Large, lots of room, with a wonderful soaking tub. I miss the tub already! I also really liked the Diptyque-branded amenities--especially that they provided small bars of soap which is something that isn't always the case when hotels have switched over to the "common use" bottles to reduce single use plastics as this hotel has done. Food at Pastamara the Italian restaurant was great for dinner--expensive but high quality. I also liked the food at Dstrikt for both dinner and breakfast. Great service from Denis (from Serbia!) at breakfast on the first morning of my visit and I was sad I didn't get to see him on my following morning--he's a really addition to the restaurant staff. (As well as the restaurant manager who makes the coffees and wears a bow tie--very pleasant and kind!) Front desk staff was also very helpful and friendly which I appreciated. Jasper (from the Netherlands) at the front desk was my favorite and I hope the hotel can hang on to him for a long time--he remembered my name somehow and showed real kindness and care for his guests. I wish every hotel I stayed at had employees as excellent as Jasper! All in all a great hotel and highly recommended to anyone looking for a comfortable and luxurious (although not ostentatious) visit to Vienna!…

I'm leaving this review simply due to the fact that all efforts to communicate in a constructive manner with the desk staff/management including via a $20 international phone call failed to lead to any constructive help from this staff. My wife and I stayed over the week of Christmas and our flight was delayed, to the point at which we simply could have cancelled our trip, The Ritz would have received no money from us and we could have called it a day. Instead we opted to lose a day and a half, continue our trip and stay at the Ritz. When we inquired about a refund for our missed night they were unwilling to help alleviate the problem, something I've never experienced with any other hotel chain including this one at any other location. In addition my Marriot Bonvoy gold elite status was somehow removed between booking and after we arrived as to which I was awarded no points/benefits. In both cases I was directed to the fact that this was booked through American Express, however, in every other case where either of these instances occurred (as I've had delayed flights previously and I've booked through Amex and tied my Marriot to it) I've never had this issue. At this time, I'm still working with Amex/Delta on my 1 night refund more than 30 days later, something that the Ritz could have addressed in 30 seconds. I never received points for my stay and no one was ever willing to have a discussion with me. The rooms are well enough and the service from the waitstaff at Distrikt and the bars were very kind, but if you have even the slightest problem or any need, don't expect it to be addressed.…

Excellent location, service and amenities. Rooms are very nice. Tried two on different visits. Restaurants and lounge were very good also. Had the gondola experience on the rooftop. I would recommend this if available. Overall a wonderful time in Vienna.

We had a fantastic stay at the Ritz Carlton. The room was one of the best I’ve ever stayed in and the staff were vey friendly and accommodating. The bars in the hotel are great places to relax and wind down after a day out exploring the many facets of Vienna and the breakfast was full of choice and of a high quality. Highly recommend this hotel for it location and quality throughout.

We stayed here in late October for about 12 days while visiting a family member. Although we visit Vienna at least yearly, it was only our second stay at the Ritz, the first one being right after it opened about 10 years ago. We were impressed with the great service and welcoming attitude upon arriving both by the front door bellmen and Club Lounge staff, especially Francesca and Alejandro. Having traveled and lived all over the world, we have stayed at many fine hotels to compare, including over 20 Ritz Carlton’s. We are always looking for attention to detail and certainly noticed the uniformity of customer service delivery was consistent and delivered impeccably. We especially enjoyed the Club Lounge, the hospitality of its hosts, ambience and food service delivery. Our room was kept spotless by an outstanding housekeeping team. The usual high standards of a Ritz. We were here over the Christmas and New Year holiday. The hotel was nicely decorated, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the food and service at Pastamara was 5 star. We had the Club Lounge access and the staff there were spectacular. I know I will leave out a few, but Max, Victoria, Rita and Alejandro, could not have been nicer and more helpful!

This hotel was in amazing location and the staff was incredibly attentive and organized. The facilities are perfect. There is always bottled water available and the staff made sure to answer any questions we had. The fitness center and indoor pool had everything you could want. I can't recommend it enough.
