This is definitely one of the best Ibis hotels I've been to. I booked The billiards lodge, which, although the same size as a standard room, is decorated differently and you even get a mini pool table so you can play! I thought it was a very nice touch and a perfect way to make a standard Ibis room more...

This is a little bit out of the heart of Vienna, however great for the money. Friendly welcome, very helpful staff. Bedrooms clean, bathroom clean. Great access to travel links, we did decide to walk into the city, ok if your fit but a tad far if you don't fancy a walk! 5 min walk to access the bug bus...

Visited the city with family and arrived at 9:00am off the sleeper train into the Hauptbanhof. We were able to check in straight away (thanks to early check in!) and were given the room keys immediately since we had already checked in online. The rooms were fit for purpose, and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast in the morning...

Very clean, convenient and with friendly and attentive staff. With off-street parking, also close to the U4 underground line so with easy access to the city centre and to Schoenbrunn Palace. Good value,

Hotel position is great (close to two U-bahn stations) and within walking distance to the main shopping street (Mariahilfestrasse). The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Rooms are simple, but clean with comfortable beds and a good sized shower. HD TV.

Staying in Margareten

Neighbourhood Profile
Margareten
This former working class district blends hip eateries and avant-garde cinema with a time travel into 1950s Vienna. Feel the district’s pulse at Margaretenhof and Schlossquadrat. 19th-century Margaretenhof is a local icon, yet has very non-Viennese architecture with its brick structure and cast-iron verandas. The nearby urban Renaissance castle of Schlossquadrat houses several restaurants. In the summer you can sit in its romantic shady courtyard over Schnitzel and Kracherl (traditional fizzy syrup). Siebenbrunnenplatz and its surrounding shops and grocery stores have remained virtually unchanged in the past 60 years: taking a walk there is like stepping into a 1950s film set. Speaking of movies, head to avant-garde cinema Filmcasino in the evening. It often stages foreign language cult films.
