I stayed there for ten days. It feels like home. Very clean. Excellent location. Good neighborhood. Everything is so convenient and within walking distance. I really enjoy talking to the owner during breakfast time. Very nice. :)

I booked here as booking.com misrepresented the place and I was unable to cancel in time. Positives: wonderful helpful people running the place. Location is 1.5km from city center but by no means a boring walk. Nice clean joint and not with musty carpets and antique looking furniture. Negatives: noise level from the street is very high second only to...

staffs were not the friendliest people. breakfast was ok, but it cost €7 per person - maybe get your own at a market nearby. furniture are dated, dusty room, our toilet had weird smell. bed sheets weren't so clean, can be improved. it was cold at night, not sure how the heater worked but we slept layering up. hairdryer can...

Good location really close to the ring and the real city centre, university and really nice restaurants and kantine not frequented by tourists, or at least more traditional than other places. Room pretty big but I suggest to book the one overlooking the secondary street or the courtyard. Our room was on the first floor and facing the main road...

We had a good stay! From check-in to check-out, it all went smooth. The hotel had friendly & helpful staff. Our room was clean & cozy. The hotel was very accessible & situated close to most of the attractions. I would stay again anytime and would recommend this to everyone!

The rooms were very clean. The receptionist was very helpful and recommended restaurants and attractions in Vienna based on our preferences. The breakfast was quite basic (bread, ham, cheese, egg), cereals and tea/coffee but tasty.

Our GPS landed us in front of a huge dark building with a tiny sign on a very busy one way street. We lucked out found an open parking spot right out front. Since I wasn't sure if I was parking legally I sent my wife in to check in and verify parking arrangements. I waited and waited. The she...

Easy to get to from the airport using the airport shuttle with a stop virtually outside the hotel. We had a triple room which was big enough for us, but the bathroom was tiny. Beds were comfortable, even though we had to use a camp bed as one of the beds was a double. Friendly staff and free wifi, price...

A decent location and inexpensive. Good bathroom facilities, ample storage and comfortable beds. Plenty of plug points and a TV. Easy process of checking in/out and the staff are very welcoming and helpful.

Staying in Serviten Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
Serviten Quarter
The Serviten Quarter is an inner city neighbourhood with many private charms. Popular with French and American expats, Sigmund Freud’s neighbourhood boasts his former practice and apartments, now turned into a museum. Stunning Liechtenstein Garden Palace houses the private art collection of Prince Adam of Liechtenstein. Romantic Strudlhofstiege close to the palace is a fantastic photo spot. With their small independent shops and eateries, the main streets of Liechtensteinstrasse, Porzellangasse and Servitengasse reveal much of this area’s character. Peek into baroque Serviten Church, with its richly decorated dome and walls. At the Old Jewish cemetery in Seegasse you can see one of the most precious cemeteries in Europe with tombstones almost 500 years old.
