We booked the Suites in preference to a larger hotel after reading all the reviews below and we were certainly not disappointed .We loved our room which had everything we could possibly want despite being only a standard and the beds were incredibly comfortable . This is the closest hotel to the Sacher and despite being so central our room...

Excellent location within easy walking distance to shops, cafes and attractions. Elevator was a little small for our luggage but we managed. Very clean, helpful staff and great value for such a prime Vienna location. They even offered one free drink each from the mini bar which was a nice touch.

First of all, let me be clear that I'm reviewing the apartment I stayed in on Walfischgasse. Separate from the hotel itself, it's a self catering studio apartment a few minutes walk from the hotel and the Opera. We did have a bit of difficulty finding the reception of the hotel to pick up the keys, as there was some...

Great location, in a pedestrian only area right across from the Opera house and the Hotel Sacher. Our room was large, clean and well appointed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Location, comfortable rooms and nice staff, all at a reasonable price. What more can you ask for? They told us most of their guests were repeat customers and...

Nice little hotel, lovely staff with great service, comfortable rooms, and the location was perfect! Everything is within a five minute walk in different directions, and trams leave from Opera house, which is practically outside the door. Price very reasonable. Fabulous coffee in lounge and in room. Breakfast offered for a fee, but we preferred going to nearby coffee houses,...

The hotel was located in a great area. A little hard to find (small sign) but the taxi driver knew right where we were going. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. The hotel room was well taken care of and maintained, a nice size and furnished nicely with super comfy beds. Breakfast was served in your room at...

I stayed in Opera suites hotel with my family at July 2012, we stayed there because they had the cheapest room for 5 in Vienna (it was a two- bedroom apartment at Walfischgasse, two minutes from the hotel). When the nice receptionist opened our apartment's door, we were amazed: the room was huge, the beds were big and comfortable, the...

I spent 5 nights in this hotel on the beginning of July. We were a party of 5 and got two rooms by the reception. The hotel is a gem if you are looking for a small, clean and centrally located one. The hotel occupies some floors of a building right in front of the Sacher Hotel, on Kartnerstrasse, close...

This hotel has to be the discovery of the year. It is right opposite the Opera House and in the centre of the action. Karlsplatz U Bahn is about 300 metre walk and other attractions all within walking distance or short underground ride. Don't expect your 'normal' as the hotel is on the 1st and 2nd floor of a beautiful...

On planning our itinerary we decided we needed to overnight in Vienna and our brief stay at the Opera Suites in Vienna became a surprise highlight. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room had every creature comfort - spectacularly comfortable beds and crisp linen, a small coffee table adorned with fresh fruit, sofa and small kitchen - complete...

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
