I have been there together with my uncle and aunt over christmas 2014 to watch northern lights. During two evenings we were very lucky to see them. The rest of out time we were driving around with the car when there was light outside and in the afternoon we used to make a walk around the nearby lake. The accomodation...

To be honest, we never felt welcome in the B&B Anemone. We’ve been to many B&B so far, but never to one, where only the first breakfast was included - afterwards you have to pay for it or serve yourself. A warm welcome to new guests of the B&B would also be completely different. The rules are the most important...

My partner and I have just returned from a week's stay here. What a fantastic time we had! Right from our initial booking, through to our stay, Oystein was a perfect host, and on our arrival spent a little time telling us about his house and the local area. We stayed in the room with it's own bathroom - a...

Just spent 4 nights there with my partner. Perfect for what we wanted, saw the lights from outside the house, close to shops, 4mins from airport about €15, clean and warm. Only a few guests so you can get lots of information from the owners. Just advice for others if you arrive on a Sunday evening, hard to get a...

I think the balance of reviews on here so far is a really good reflection of whether this place would be right for you. The location is fantastic - so close to the centre, but away from the lights sufficiently to see the Northern Lights (we saw a great display on our first night). The communal kitchen is also a...

Well, I booked this place after all the good reviews I read here but found my experience to be a little different. It wasn't bad but it was not fantastic either. Both Oystein and his wife, Petra, are friendly and helpful people. They pop into the B&B every now and again to find out if the guests are okay and...

I stayed with my boyfriend in the winter of 2014 and we totally loved it. Location: Its on top of the Island and away from the city lights. Just 5 minute walk (in the middle of the night) you'll find a perfectly dark spot where you can experience the northern lights in its full glory. Building:Its a nice building. Very...

Incredible B&B in the better position of the city... 3km from the airport, and 2km from the city centre, but with the bus station at 300m... And believe me, it's better this b&b 5 minutes from the centre that all the hotels in the centre, because in night (and here the nights could be so long!) you are in a...

My fiance and I stayed at Anemone for 10 nights in February this year, and really enjoyed our stay. The B&B was lovely, really homely and Oystein and his wife were very welcoming. The B&B itself was really clean and warm, and our room was great. The beds were nice and comfy, and the kitchen area was well stocked and...

Perfect spot for getting out to see the lights. Cheapest place we found near tromso. Comfortable, warm. Everything we could ask for. Kitchen area for those on a budget, certainly helped us. The town is super easy on the bus, or a half hour walk. We'd visit again, definitely. Oystein happy to help out with local knowledge - his website...
