We stayed in a one bedroom apartment. It was spacious, clean and well equipped. The building is older but the interiors look to have been renovated in the past few years. The apartment we stayed in had a washing machine but no dishwasher, which was perfect for us. I understand that other apartments are differently equipped. The location is excellent,...

If you know ahead of time what to expect, this hotel is fine. Tromsø is expensive to stay in, so the price is high. We booked a family room for 4 and paid $250/night. The room was quite small, no fridge. The lobby has free coffee and tea all day. There are free self-serve waffles every evening. The description of...

This "hotel" is the smallest we have ever stayed at. The bar, reception and lounge are all combined into one draughty entrance area where the front doors continuously open and close letting in plenty of cold air off the street. There is no restaurant and the rooms are minute. The wardrobe consists of two sheets of metal against a wall...

way too much expensive for what it is. there was not enough hot water in the bathroom! there was a problem with the sink that my husband had to fix, since the young man at the front desk did not know how to deal with. just don't use this hotel, it is not worth its high price.

I have to say i was a little disappointed with this place. I wasn't expecting anything too upmarket for the price but I think the pictures online make it look nicer than it actually is. Our room was very small and whilst the floor had been cleaned it soon became apparent that the cleaners simply cleaned round the beds and...

Positive: - good location, has a supermarket 5 mins away - waffles served at around 6pm (we could snack before our northern lights tours) - rooms are ok, clean enough Negative: - the hotel is a bit old There's nothing much to complain about, but it's not great either.

A very nice apartment. You will only get one set of keys to the apartment. Towels are not being refreshed if you are not in the apartment when the cleaning lady knocks at the door. Free breakfast in the hotel is not provided to people who stay in the apartments.

We got transferred to Viking Hotell from City Living Hotel, which we booked in the first place. We ended up living in "Gold" apartment and it was great. The apartment is very spacious, with large living room, well-equipped kitchen and a nice bedroom with very comfortable beds. Bathroom and bedroom had heated floors, which was wonderful in cold winter days....

This review is being placed under both City Living Tromso and the Viking Hotel Apartments as we booked the former, but ended up staying in the later. Both are owned and managed by the same company. My wife and I and my two elderly parents stayed in Tromso over new year 2016/2017 for a week. We booked two apartments in...
