My friend and I really enjoyed our days in Oslo especially at the Scandic Hotel. I would recommend this hotel to everyone: friends, couples, families. Felt appreciated by the service team. We didn‘t need any driver or Taxi as the hotel is very near to the center.

Very nice surroundings and easy to find places to eat! I like that the hotel is close to grunnerlökka but in a quite and beutiful place. I recommend walking next to the akerselva and watch the old industrial buildings. Also check out the cute houses art telthusbakken

We stayed for one night, very clean & comfortable, nice staff. Only a 10 minute walk into the Centre of Oslo. Right next to the fish market. Breakfast was great, lots of choice and good quality. Well worth the money

There are lots of positives about the hotel. It’s in a great location ~ easy to walk to the city centre and lots of different food outlets nearby. Apart from the local Italian we had some lovely meals. The room is very small with no wardrobe. But it was clean and we had decent

The electrician who did this, should think about changing jobs, and the facility management/responsible person at the hotel should think about what they are doing!

hello, there are fast trains from Gardermoen airport to the city center. It will take 20 -30mins. From city center Oslo Central Station, you can take bus. You can ask tourist center in which bus going to Scandic Vulkan because time of buses are different when it is sunday.

Google Maps tells that bus 34 goes directly from the terminal to to a stop close to the hotel. I have not taken the bus but remember buses passing on the street outside the hotel. Exit the bus at stop "Telthusbakken", should be about 200m from Scandic Vulkan (according to the rout map, the bus passes the hotel bfore the stop). Link exists to the bus company information site (also in English) but Tripadvisor apparently does not allow to site it directly. Google " Oslo buss 34" and you will find it. Good luck and have a good trip stay in Norway!

How much is parking per day and is on site? Thank you
Parking is in the parking house just 100m away. Pretty expensive as always in Oslo, cannot recall the exact amount, think around 280 NOK per 24 hrs.
