We got a very big room on the 11th floor with a beautiful view on the city. The breakfast was good, with a lot of choice and well organized. The receptionist are very friendly and helpful :) The location is good, 2 stops from the Central train station and near to the river.

This is my third stay at the Anker Hotel and it is always the same level of consistency. The hotel may not be the best in the world but it is a great value in a quiet area. The hotel is about a 10 to 15 minute walk from Oslo S and about the same distance to the main shopping...

You are very friendly welcommed by the staff. The rooms are fresh and tidy with comfortable beds. Generous and tasty breakfast is served. Some of the rooms provide spectacular views of the city. The centre of the city is within comfortable walking distance but tram stops are also to be found quite close to the entrance of the Hotel.

We stayed here for 3 nights and mostly enjoyed the stay. The room is basic but it's clean and has everything you need. There is tea and coffee facilities available to borrow from reception (Not sure why they don't have these in the rooms?). The breakfast buffet has plenty choice and very good. The staff are very friendly and helpful....

Pros: -Good location, easy access to the centre. -Big room, nice soft comfortable bed. -Nice breakfast buffet. -Friendly staffs. -You can ask for borrowing a kettle to make tea/coffee in your room. I had such a great time staying in here, will definitely stay here again if I come back to Oslo. Highly recommend! Cons: It would be great if...

I stayed a week at Anker and have stayed several times at this hotel in the past. The hotel is near to the Oslo bus terminal and the Oslo Central train station. The hotel offers an amazing view over Oslo from floor 8 and I suggest you ask for your room from this level if you like. The added benefit...

Absolutely fabulous views of Oslo from the upper floors, especially the panoramic one from the windows by the (staff?) lifts. The best buffet breakfast I have ever had with an amazing choice of items & lots of veggie options. They even let us into the breakfast hall before it was due to open so we could grab something before our...

We spent 3 nights here over New Year. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are pleasant and helpful and - apparently like everyone in Oslo - speak perfect English. The included breakfast is excellent. A good value and well located base to explore Osli

A fairly central budget choice, devoid of any class, charm or atmosphere. Needs some maintenance. Family rooms with upto 5 beds are ok and functional. An acceptable buffet breakfast is included. The hotel does offer parking - public parking in the street is 250 NOK for 24 hours.

The hotel is quite near to bussterminal and train station. It is big with a nice view in the upper floors (ask for it if possible). Just beside the hotel there is a street full of pub and restaurant. People very very kind, friendly and efficient. We spend there one night because we hat a flight the next morning: we...
