That was the worse experience in Norway. At the time of paying they ask for more money... aparently there were some hidden costs. We were charge for the cleaning what to me means the place must be in a flawless condition and it wasn't. Not as cheap as it seems!!

It is hard to believe that someone would by design make a place so unfunctional to stay in, but they have. Yes it is an old building that actually has some character but you can't enjoy your stay. I could only laugh when I saw the bathroom. Small as it was the throne was positioned in the middle of the...

I didn't read any of the reviews before booking. My priority was to find a hotel with "pets allowed". Well, this hotel actually allow pets, which is fine. but there's a BUT. I read one review comparing this "hotel" with a hostel in Eastern Europe. I can say that I'm very comfortable at a Hostel in for instance Riga, regarding...

First of all, I knew most of the "challenges" this hotel has beforehand and as I was looking cheapest way possible to spend 2 nights in this beautiful city (before continuing to Flåm), I didn't expect much. And I most certainly didn't get much! First of all, everyone must know that this hotel is staffed only for little period of...

Normally, when you use a Bar-Keeper to deliver the keys, and the Bar-Keeper looks at you like a "victim". LEAVE. This joint is the pits the worst of the worst. A cesspool of iniquity, and deceptive. The kitchen has no stove, no oven no hotplates, all rudely removed, and replaced by a microwave. Like in Central-Jail. The website shows the...

I booked via Booking.com, but as I did not actually stay I could not write a review for them. I arrived in the rain at the "hotel" at 15:45 to find a notice on the locked front door to see the barman in the hotel next door for the key. After receiving the key I entered the deserted foyer and...

Very poor hotel, the reception works only from 1000 to 1500, at other hours you have to ppick up your keys at the nearby pub, the pub itself is open until 0330 every night, making a lot of noise and the smell of cigarette smokers comes up to the rooms even with closed windows. Windows does not have curtains of...

im writing this as my honest opinion.... right here we go,this place look much better on the web sites and pictures, its an old building converted into hotel rooms,it is very tired and unwelcoming,i have stayed at cheaper hostels that are a lot nicer and cheaper. the whole place is noisy from doors backing echoing through the building and the very...

At first sight, the hotel seemed basic : a bed, a table, an armoire, a kind of bathroom (nonfunctional at all, when sitting on the toilet, the sink is behind you and you can litteraly take a shower at the same time). But most important : There are BED BUG !! And NO ONE to speak to. The manager is...

To list the negatives of this hotel would take longer than the trip itself. It would be easier to list the positives: - Location (However, even that became a problem due to the late night/early morning noise of the surrounding pubs and 8am wake up calls from the Church Bells). If the lack of: sleep; comfort; quiet; space; chairs; mirrors;...
