Stayed here late summer, fall and winter! Very good bus connections (25 min to city centre), and friendley helpful staff. Got help to jumpstart the camper by the nice manager, after having went to bed without turning the car lights off.. And Dora the receptionist and all doer always greets me with a smile ( :

Friendly staff but shame about the site , having to cross a busy road to go to the showers and toilets , good for caravan or camping car as it is just gravel I did not see grass for pitching a tent the trouble it just a convenient place to visit Bergen , A bad image for norway

Despite the poor reviews, stayed for 2 nights mainly because of bus route into Bergen City The campsite was more like a parking lot adjoining an industrial area, the toilet block being the other side of a road continually used by busses and lorries. The majority of the accommodation appeared to be lived in by people working in the area...

Not sure why there are so many bad reviews? We went for 2 nights and another 1 night, had booked the motel ,but got both times upgraded to huts. All the staff was friendly and helpful! The first 2 nights it was one of the smaller huts with toilet facilities over the road.The last night we got a big hut...
