There was a hotel strike across Norway on the weekend we visited. We knew of this but we're relieved to hear of the hotel still being open. A lot of the facilities were reduced due to staffing issues but the manager pulled through and ensured we got a packed breakfast each day. Radisson kindly refunded most of the hotel points...

When visiting Stavanger on business I had usually resided at the Radisson Blu on the lake front but this hotel is being refurbished so I chose the Blu Royal with a little trepidation but I should not have worried, Radisson did what they do best and delivered in spades. Lovely staff, lovely breakfast, great room and plenty of amenities, overall...

Parking: horrible, if you are able to find the machine to pay find yourself lucky if you don't get a ticket between leaving the car, going to the reception asking for advice and then trying to find the machine, and go to the car, get the license plate, back to the machine, pay, back to the car again. One or...

Dear Mentor, Thanks for your feedback and recommendations. You note some very good points that we need to look into and I am sure we can make some changes that will improve the arrival experience on Sundays. The Atrium Restaurant is actually open all evenings and serves as our all day dining area, if you do not want use room...

This is a nice central hotel in Stavanger with full hotel services. The building is older but our room was well appointed. Initially, we were assigned a smaller cramped room for 3 of us but we asked nicely and they found us a larger room that could better accommodate a rollaway. Service was good and the breakfast buffet that we...

Great city hotel with a superb location. The staff were friendly and attentive. The rooms well appointed and the gym/ sauna adequate. Would definitely recommend as a place to stop in Stavanger close to bars and city centre. While your here try the sliders for lunch they are awesome

My room was spacious and clean. Stavanger is of course the most expensive city in one of the most expensive countries in the world but if you need a central location to see the Oil Capital of Norway, its attractions and its people, this hotel is ideal. The train Station is literally next door, running trains all the way to...

One of the nicest hotels I've used in Norway. Modern, clean, nice bar, restaurant, and leisure facilities. Staff are very friendly, attentive and professional. Only downside was I only managed to stay for one night, but will definitely choose this hotel again

Good place for a business stay (I guess you do not come to Stavanger for a different purpose). Nice, renovated, cosy rooms. Tasty breakfasts, not bad dining (I recommend monkfish). Small but functional gym and they even have a swimming pool with sauna. A short walk to the city "center", which is worth having a look at.
