Service was exceptional!! All the staff were friendly and nothing was too much to ask!

Food: Breakfast has a large variety of breakfast options to suit all dietary requirements. The restaurant food is of a high standard and is reasonably priced.
Rooms: The rooms are very comfortable and all have air conditioning. The showers are always hot and powerful. You're supplied with two seats and a table outside the front of the smaller rooms and a drying rack to place towels on after a day by the pool
Pools: The pools are plentiful and not crowded. The middle pool is perfect for lengths as it is very long, the beds beside this pool states that they're reserved for poolside villa use only but we did not have any issues using them.
Beach: The beach is a stone throw from all rooms on site and is very peaceful. The tide comes in quite close during the day meaning there is little availability to sit out on the beach all day, but it is possible most of the time as the tide heads back out throughout the day. The beach is very clean and private.
Bar: The bar closes at 10pm which seemed early, but there is a small shop located next to the hotel so I would advise stocking some refreshments and heading to the peaceful beach after hours.
Staff: The staff were friendly throughout our entire stay, and nothing was too much trouble.

Me and my girlfriend stayed in early Jan. Excellent, every bit worth the price. Located in rather secluded part, very quiet after sunset, no beach dinner available unlike some other hotels in the area. It’s just off main road so car/scooter is a must. Rest all good.

I had a really enjoyable stay at The Passage. The view as you enter with the swimming pools fringed by coconut palms with the beach in the background is stunning. The rooms as spacious and well maintained. All the staff without exception were extremely friendly. Breakfast is served at the restaurant next to the beach with breathtaking views out to sea.

We have just returned home from a fantastic stay at the Passage on Samui. The hotel and Staff are truly excellent and do everything to make sure that your stay is as perfect as possible. All Staff on the hotel was fantastic but Cat and Ben in the restaurant was just further fantastic – catering to all our needs and just very pleasant company to be around and enjoy some small talk with.
We stayed in a 2 bedroom "villa" with a private pool and that was simply just perfect for our family vacation, we had a small "kitchen" / lounge area besides the 2 bedrooms, where the kids often had dinner from room service.
The private pool is not very large, but it was very easy and nice for the kids to quickly jump into the pool and when we wanted more the hotel offered 3 large pools on the hotel grounds.
The hotel is right on the beach and right in front of the hotel the beach is clear of rocks and coral. - There are corals to both sides of the hotel and further out as well, which makes this beach very protected. When we stayed at the hotel the tide was out most of the day, which made the beach very shallow and not good for swimming, so for beach swimming we had to get up and complete this in the mornings.
Everything about this hotel we will highly recommend, both for families with kids, but also for adults seeking a nice, relaxed vacation - there are plenty of room for both at the same time.
The hotel is a bit away from everything else, so some kind of private transportation is highly recommended.

I had booked a private villa, but the pool was too small, so I changed to a room next to the large pool. It is located on the north side of the island, about 20 minutes from the airport. The hotel is quiet and the restaurant is very good, But the price of 6 euros for coconut water is expensive. The pool in the center of the hotel is large and can be enjoyed at any time of the day. You can swim while watching the night sky or swim early in the morning. The ocean is also right in front of the hotel, and when the tide is low, you can walk to the offshore area. This is not a busy area, so it is recommended for those who want to relax.

We're glad to hear that you were able to find a suitable accommodation option by switching to a room next to the large pool. Our goal is to ensure that every guest's stay is comfortable and meets their preferences. It's wonderful to know that you found our location on the north side of the island to be peaceful and quiet. The convenience of having a large pool in the center of the hotel that can be enjoyed at any time of the day is indeed a highlight for many of our guests. Your insights about the pricing are duly noted, and we'll certainly take it into consideration. Being located right by the ocean and having the option to walk to the offshore area during low tide is something we're proud to offer. We're glad that you found this aspect of our location appealing. We have just spent 9 nights in this green and peaceful setting in the northwest of Koh Samui on a breakfast basis.
Family of 4 with 2 teenagers aged 19 and 17
The establishment is perfect, we stayed in a 2 bedroom plunge pool villa 20 meters from the swimming pool and the beach.
80 people maximum within the hotel which is kind to its customers.
Calm prevails as the hotel is far from the busy areas of Chaweng and Bophut.
The villa is perfect for 4 despite only one bathroom and toilet in this same room.
No entertainment in the hotel but that was not our search criterion.
We recommend the establishment if you want to relax, relax to the sound of soft music and feel considered.
Important: if you choose this establishment, you must rent a vehicle, which we did at Tonton Samui (also perfect).
Despite checking out at 1 p.m. for a shuttle at 6:30 p.m., the establishment allowed us to take our showers at the spa before leaving.
In the breakfast formula, you have 2 nearby addresses if you want to discover: a small beach restaurant 30 meters on the right side of the beach going down and a second one leaving the hotel 500 meters away: the Beryl Bar.
A big thank you to the whole team who allowed us to spend 10 wonderful days.

Although the hotel is a little out of the way ( hotel provides a mini bus to get to the near by town) the resort is amazing. We stayed in a poolside villa which was just behind the reception area, this had its own infinity pool that should have been shared with another villa on the otherside, however this was empty, so we had it all to ourselves. The villa was nice and airy and kept clean daily, all of the hotel staff were helpful and friendly, and we really enjoyed our stay here. The nearby fishermans village has a market on a friday, which is well worth a visit, yes there are a number of sellers with fakes, but the atmosphere was really good, and plenty of places to eat and drink, at reasonable prices, many of them on the beach.

We stayed at the passage in a poolside Villa. The room was acceptable, it was kept clean and daily maid service. There is a list in the room 4 breakages all itemised individually.
Around the pool needs attention, it is very outdated and run down. The pool is unsafe in places.
The restaurant is OK. The breakfast is the same every day and often runs out of food. The waiters are good.
Evenings food is expensive but OK. We mainly ate at Beryl's bar down the road which is fab food.
I was disappointed with the Hotel. Worst holiday we've had in years. Visited Thailand a few times, will not b going back.

I stayed here with my husband, 2y old little girl and mother for a week holiday. We arrived in the evening when it had gone dark and we were a bit disappointed with the lack of information given / in the room bout amenities and the cleanliness of the room. (Bottle left in cupboard from previous occupant) Seems that maid service is not done to a high standard, just basic sweep and towel change.
However, we did love the location of our villa, right next to the sea and restaurant and pool. We also had our own small private pool. The hotel seemed like it needed a few renovations since being closed for covid (eg decking by the pool needs to be replaced!) But with these renovations and a more thorough maid service, I could have easily given this place a 4/5. The members of staff were so friendly to us, especially Nok and Benz in the restaurant. The sunset from the restaurant was beautiful! A new chef started while we were there and the menu was perfect, a bit of something for everyone and very adaptable if we wanted something slightly different! My mum ordered omelette even when it wasn’t on the lunch/dinner menu. They also catered for my little girl very well too - pasta with sauce and plastic ‘fancy glass’ like mummy’s. There were seesaw rocking horse and dinosaur by the pool for her to play with and the pools were clean and well maintained.
