A lovely hotel - the perfect location for us! It had two pools (although both were under construction when we were there - May 2023). Lovely rooms with a shower facing the private garden so it feels like you're showering in nature!! Breakfast comes with a stunning view of the private beach as well - what more do you really want! Can't recommend What (the lovely Bar man) who was the friendlist member there! He was so caring and funny, it was a joy to speak to him each day . he makes you feel so special and welcome!! A really nice location - about 10 minutes to the main town which had a lovely food market when we were there as well as the main ferry port! The hotel is on the quieter side of the island, although its very easy to get around the whole island if you want too!

The best sea view and sunset on the island. I booked this hotel for my guests for my wedding, and arranged a party on the beach the day before the wedding. The hotel delivered a fantastic party. Great food and drinks, and a really good presentation. It was perfect. They overdelivered. Thanks to manager Mr. Owen and his crew. The passage is a great hotel, and they have very good service. It is a very good place to relax, with a beautiful calming view and the most beautiful sun set. Great beach and calmer ocean than the other side of the island. They also have great transportation service.

I stayed here with my husband, 2y old little girl and mother for a week holiday. We arrived in the evening when it had gone dark and we were a bit disappointed with the lack of information given / in the room bout amenities and the cleanliness of the room. (Bottle left in cupboard from previous occupant) Seems that maid service is not done to a high standard, just basic sweep and towel change. However, we did love the location of our villa, right next to the sea and restaurant and pool. We also had our own small private pool. The hotel seemed like it needed a few renovations since being closed for covid (eg decking by the pool needs to be replaced!) But with these renovations and a more thorough maid service, I could have easily given this place a 4/5. The members of staff were so friendly to us, especially Nok and Benz in the restaurant. The sunset from the restaurant was beautiful! A new chef started while we were there and the menu was perfect, a bit of something for everyone and very adaptable if we wanted something slightly different! My mum ordered omelette even when it wasn’t on the lunch/dinner menu. They also catered for my little girl very well too - pasta with sauce and plastic ‘fancy glass’ like mummy’s. There were seesaw rocking horse and dinosaur by the pool for her to play with and the pools were clean and well maintained.…

Away from the hustle and bustle of the busy Samui town centres, this is a haven for those looking for somewhere quiet to stay. Na Thon is only 5 minutes away if you're looking for a bit more action so The Passage is by no means isolated. Despite the devastation of Covid to patronage and considering our family was among only two other guests at the facility, the staff bent over backwards to compensate for reduced services. The Passage Koh Samui is a family run oasis located on the western side of the island away from the madding crowd of the east coast with beautiful swimming pools coconut trees and a white sandy beach However with a short cab ride you can be anywhere We had the luxury of a beach front villa with our own pool which added to our enjoyment The staff are extremely helpful and go out of their way to make your stay a memory you won’t forget, in saying that Covid took its toll on the island with loss of trained staff which it is now recovering from, we enjoyed our stay and would like to revisit in the future

We had an amazing holiday at this hotel. The food was great, I highly recommend their Thai food. This hotel has its own private beach which is clean and beautiful. Room was nice and well designed. Would definitely recommend for a family holiday here. The breakfast was good and reasonable for price. I would come back here again if i get a chance. Thank you to all the kind staffs.

I had a really enjoyable stay at The Passage. The view as you enter with the swimming pools fringed by coconut palms with the beach in the background is stunning. The rooms as spacious and well maintained. All the staff without exception were extremely friendly. Breakfast is served at the restaurant next to the beach with breathtaking views out to sea.

We stayed at the passage in a poolside Villa. The room was acceptable, it was kept clean and daily maid service. There is a list in the room 4 breakages all itemised individually. Around the pool needs attention, it is very outdated and run down. The pool is unsafe in places. The restaurant is OK. The breakfast is the same every day and often runs out of food. The waiters are good. Evenings food is expensive but OK. We mainly ate at Beryl's bar down the road which is fab food. I was disappointed with the Hotel. Worst holiday we've had in years. Visited Thailand a few times, will not b going back.
