We were greeted by the host, Jean Francois and asked if we'd like a glass a wine as we arrived a couple of hours before dinner. Our room was large and comfortable. The bed was excellent, the bathroom en suite Our view from Our bedroom window was gorgeous. This is a very romantic inn and area to experience. But the...

We were bowled over by this beautiful property in the heart of lush, green countryside. The room was large and tastefully decorated. It was spotlessly clean with a stunning view. We were welcomed with a tray of Earl Grey tea and sat outside in glorious sunshine. Dominique and Jean-Francois were fabulous hosts and the quality of the breakfast was probably...

We had a wonderful stay at Bechanou, the location is very special. The room was really lovely, with a huge bed and fabulous outlook. The breakfasts were very good and the dinners were quite special. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and wished we could have stayed longer.

My husband and I stayed in the separate self catering house of Bechanou for a weeks break. The barn conversion has a stunning location and the views from the kitchen are breathtaking. Dominique gave us a lovely bottle of local red wine as a welcome gift and Thankyou to Jean-Francois for the 'petit bois' (firewood) too. The barn was nicely...

We only stayed four days and it was not enough. We were torn between wanting to just sit by the pool enjoying the peace or driving around and seeing all the sights. Jean-Francoise welcomed us with a glass of wine when we checked in. Our room in this restored farm house had a lovely view of the hills, a great...

Le Bechanou is one of these B&B that set the standard for all others. At first we were overwhelmed by the location, the room, the atmosphere. But soon the owners take care that you really feel at home and can start to enjoy the place to its fullest. The food and wines during the "table d'hôte" are just delightful and...

Delightful hosts Dominique and Jean-Francois. Beautiful quiet country setting in an old restored farm house. They have done a great job with the restoration. Our room was very spacious with a king sized bed and a HUGE shower. The petit dejeuner was HUGE and delicious every morning. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. They have a pool but we...

We used this elegant and comfortable bed and breakfast as our base for visiting the sights around Montignac and Les Ezyies, such as the prehistoric cave art, chateaux, Sarlat, La Roque Gageac, Domme, St. Amand de Coly, St. Leon sur Vezere. The bed and breakfast is in a quiet setting outside the small town of Plazac and is a totally...

“We had a large room on the second floor with a king sized bed and a separate room with a single bed that we used as a dressing area. The bathroom in our room was very spacious and we loved the extra large shower - a treat in France!”
