1st time at Rahaa, won’t be the last. I was the only guest on the island for about 4 days, was treated amazingly. Avishka the chef let me specifically choose my meal plans, made me an amazing Sri Lankan curry, catered for my fussy taste in foods, thanks Avishka. Nazrul and Chamara kept my room spotless and the minibar stocked, nothing was too much trouble. Pye, head of housekeeping kept popping round to check everything was ok. To all the other staff at the bar and at meal times you were amazing. Could praise this island so much, many thanks for looking after me xxxxx

Perfect holiday for a relaxing getaway where you can just chill out and do nothing. The island is the most beautiful, picturesque island on the planet. Pure white sand, crystal clear water. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and can’t do enough for you. Things that can be improved: 1. The food was amazing for some one with no restrictions but if you are Vegan or vegetarian then you may struggle on some nights for a main meal as a lot of the dishes are mixed with meat or tuna. Also, no dairy alternatives for Vegans so be prepared to go Vegetarian for your holiday or go hungry. The chef did however express that if there are any requirements then he would cook meat/fish less meals on request. 2. Drinking water: you are given 2 bottles per day for free (at the start of the week this was 500ml bottles but changed to 1.5litre bottles by the end of the holiday) and obviously get water for free at meal times. All other water is to be bought which adds up over the course of the holiday as the island can get so hot you need to stay hydrated. 3. Nothing else needed at all. Everything else was perfect. We went for a week which is plenty of time to relax. The travelling to get there, 3 planes and a boat, took approximately 24 hours so we treated this as part of the holiday and the travelling just added to the experience. We took part in the snorkelling which was free of charge, a cinema night was put on on the beach one night but most days and nights we were happy to relax on the beach or by the ocean lake. We would highly recommend going here for a holiday and plan to visit the Maldives again in the future.…

I will start off by saying... some people just love to moan! We are currently at the rahaa resort and with two days left of our honeymoon, I thought now would be a good time to review whilst I'm still basking in this beautiful paradise. The shore line is just something else yes when the tide is out parts are a little rocky from washed up coral but I'm not sure that's reason to Complain its nature and what happens in those areas when the tide comes in is magical.... schools of fish big and small play black reef tip sharks (no bigger than a foot long) hunt so close the the sand you often experience them out of the water. The sand on the beach and outside the ocean view rooms is like silk and I'm spending most of my time with no shoes. There are so many different species of crabs just wondering around and lizards sprinting. We saw a small snake on our second night. And the trip to the house reef which is free and twice daily was beautiful manta rays and turtles the colour of the water looks like a filter has been placed on the photos but in reality this place is just outstanding. Food... the food at this resort is probably the best food I've had on an all inclusive holiday everything is full of flavour and there is always something new to try the chefs work on an open kitchen and are constantly happy and polite. The staff that work around the rest of the resort are absolutely amazing they can't do enough for you some of the happiest people I've met they are always willing to go the extra mile everyone greets you warmly. The staff work so hard and that is evident in how sparkling the place is. There is entertainment on a weekend in the evening to be honest I thought this was a great compromise we didn't come to the maldives for parties and piss ups so thoroughly enjoyed the evenings and the weekend entertainment. One of the evenings we were introduced by the manager to the owner of the island who was pleasant and interested in our time here, when he realised it was our honeymoon an iced bucket and sparkling with champagne flutes were sent to our table. Everything here has been bliss and I would 100% return it truly is paradise and we got lucky with booking the time we did with only 30 guests on the island it's beautiful to only be able to hear the ocean lapping againt the sand and the sharks splashing whilst hunting. Thank you to all the absolutely amazing staff for making our honeymoon such a special occasion. Always keep smiling! Top tip: when you buy your sun lotion, think again and get extra bottles and higher factors …

seldom write a review, but our experience at the resort was great, from the general manager who knew our names and when we booked to the young man who cleaned the room. The staff really make it top notch. We booked a Valentines dinner, and along with five other couples each in their own private outside area were sung to by a duet. Compliments to the chef who cooked a fantastic six course dinner. A special mention to Suddi who usually served us at lunch and dinner.

Just returned from 9 days at Rahaa Resort I think everything has already been said about this island It was a fantastic island with lovely beaches with fantastic staff All very friendly and would do anything to help you they all were a great credit to the resort Food was generally good apart the fact they always cooked chicken on the bone as it was cheaper than breast As for the owners or management of this resort where do you start Mini All inclusive package which is not a all inclusive package Only 4 cocktails were part of the package the rest you had to pay for(now that is not a all inclusive deal) What do children want after dinner or rather for dinner ice cream but guess what it is not part of the all inclusive deal They had a separate ice cream shop that you had to pay for(rip off comes to mind ) They have a separate bar down the far end of the beach which guess what. Was not part of the all inclusive deal God only knows why So it was our favourite part of the island because it was empty as nobody in their right mind would pay for drinks at 1 bar that were free at the other( again makes no sense apart from owners or management just trying to make extra money from people who have already paid a lot of money to get to their dream getaway just to be told half of the stuff is not included) Mini bar in room NOT Included Food in the all inclusive bar between 2-30 and 5-30 Sign read Pay for your Burger and get a glass of house wine free ? So again another cheap shot. So many good things about the resort were completely outweighed by owners or management just trying to squeeze every penny they can out of you Would we go back ? Sadly NO as to many negatives Just charge a little more to begin with and include everything so it won’t upset people who have traveled 20 hours to get there. Also you should build a swimming pool down by the bar that no one uses They had a disco down the Koobar between 5 and 7pm which was yet again empty apart from the Dj and 1 bar staff member(shame again as it could be very good )…

We chose Rahaa Resort for our first holiday in the Maldives. Our goal was to find a resort to enjoy the wonder of the maldivian nature, the crystal clear sea, its people and its culture in an environment that was reserved and peaceful. We wanted to enjoy good food, experience tastes and traditions and be surprised. We chose the all inclusive premium formula that in addition to the choice of beverage has given us some more benefits for the activities of the resort. All organized with the T.O. #mondomaldive that we highly recommend for a 360 degree advice and assistance to prepare and live a carefree stay. At Rahaa Resort we found more than what we expected: peace, privacy and the beauty of the people who work there. From the gardeners who cross the paths that lead to the rooms that always greet you with a smile, to Malaak, a very young receptionist who took care of us since the first day, with kindness and professionalism has accommodated us in all our requests and needs and not only with great capacity, also with great heart. We thought she were the Director because of her ability in her job. Through whatsapp contact during our stay, treated in real time banal mishaps (such as the restoration of the mini bar or the failure to return clothes by the laundry) promoted the activities of the day and above all, she found an alternative to the sunset cruise that we risked losing because the minimum of participants had not been reached and put us on the sunset fishing trip on our last night at the resort. It was unforgettable and we appreciated how she cared to make us happy. Without Malaak our holiday would not have been so beautiful. Another praise goes to our friend Vamshi, a member of the hospitality team we met at the restaurant upon our arrival at the resort. He followed us, cared for and spoiled for all the time of the stay and took care of us with great professionalism and affection, always anticipating our requests with his wonderful and unforgettable smile. An operator who deserves more responsibility because we are sure of his high potential in catering sector and hospitality. Thanks to him, who was able to promote it with great ability, we participated in the grab race, even winning it, and in the end we were rewarded by the General Manager of the resort, Ismail Hussain, charismatic and sunny person as well as young and nice. Every evening the resort offered different activities such as Karaoke, excellent live music, film screening under the stars, Maldivian theme night. It must be said that you get involved but without invasion or embarrassment. Excellent cuisine both for vegetarians and for those who expect to taste good fish, although rarely proposed, but cooked at the moment. Thanks to Chef Chaminda we enjoyed the buffet food, very spicy and quite varied, but we were delighted by a private couple dinner, consumed under the stars on the beach. The courses, a menu cooked just for us, were spectacular works of art, for presentation and taste, it seemed to be at dinner by a starred chef. Congratulations chef Chaminda! Only aspects to improve: in the morning as soon as we woke up, we found many algae and plastic bottles bring from the tide. A staff should be set up dedicated to the immediate cleaning of the beach, especially towards the less frequented but more romantic part of the Ko'bar, because they remained on the shore for days. It would be ideal to inform all the staff about the all-inclusive premium formula, so that you don’t get receipts to sign for cocktails to pay or drinks from the mini bar in the room, which are included. The supervisor should be more helpful and capable, and not always try to squeeze money out of customers with additional money demands. He has never established a contact with the customer, never a smile, when instead he should be an example for the staff just like Ismail, the general manager, which has the merit of the friendliness of the rest of the staff. Thanks to Wasati, for the sweetness and exemplary elegance, thanks to Kola for her colorful cocktails like her, thanks to Gabbe, nice and helpful manager of the diving center. Enjoy Rahaa Resort! Claudio e Tullia…

My girlfriend and I had an unforgettable time at Rahaa Resort thanks to the immensely hospitable and friendly staff, the gorgeous resort and it's premises, the genuinely delicious food and amazing water sports and activities. Those views all over the island are simply jaw-dropping, the quietness and tranquility on each and every piece of the beach is just addictive and we really had a truly refreshing vacation. The staff is so polite, humble and friendly that it's hard to explain it, you should just be there and feel it firsthand. Special thanks to our host Charan and our room service Mohammad for always being there to support us and for making all it takes to turn our experience in an infinite bliss.

It's difficult to know where to begin and to put into words such a wonderful stay at the Rahaa Resort. The island is like a little paradise and certainly one of the most magical, beautiful stays we have ever had. The main ingredients to that magic though has to be the wonderful staff who work at the Rahaa Resort. Each and every one of them make your holiday. Without them, although the beauty would still be there, they are the main ingredient that add the sparkle and make the stay one of the best you will ever experience. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by such care and a genuine concern for us to enjoy the beautiful island. On arrival we were greeted with a fresh coconut drink served in the coconut and a row of smiling faces, that never seemed to stop smiling the whole ten days we were there. The lovely Charan cheerfully greeted us at reception and was our main point of contact during our stay. He kept us updated on a daily basis about various activities and couldn't have been more helpful and kind. Our ocean room villa was incredible. The views to the turquoise, incredible sea was simply breathtaking. The room was large, simply and beautifully furnished with the most amazing bathroom you will ever see, situated so that half of it is open to the elements with a wonderful stand alone bathtub. We were also provided with a great array of complimentary toiletries. Everything is thought of to make your stay as comfortable as possible. When we arrived, our room was decorated beautifully with a lovely welcome message of flowers designed by the amazing Nazrul. We were fortunate to have Nazrul look after us during our stay and our room was kept incredibly clean. Nazrul was so very helpful and kind, with the biggest smile and heart and great sense of humour. The delicious food was fresh, varied and catered for everybody. We felt very spoilt with so many different dishes to choose from every day. The lovely Chaminda and the catering staff worked so hard producing the delicious food and Chaminda always took time out to speak to everybody and to see if there were any particular requirements. I don't eat meat and was offered freshly cooked fish on a daily basis. There was always somebody going that extra mile to ensure that you had the best time. The complimentary house reef excursions were just incredible. 9am and 2pm everyday and we were mainly accompanied by Brando and Abo who made the trips so memorable. They ensure that everybody feels safe and is looked after and then they take you on a guided snorkel tour to see the true beauty that lies beneath the oceans. Every single colour you can imagine, simply breathtaking. The corals and the stunning fish that you are privileged to see will stay with me forever. We did one of the paid turtle excursions and Brando was so informative and took time to answer our questions and gave us such a detailed understanding of the marine life and projects that he was doing himself. Such a gift to listen to this very clever man. On this trip we saw some turtles, stingrays and sharks too. More than we could ever have imagined. There are two gifted singers who are often around during dinner and in the bar area, which was lovely to listen to in the evenings. There were also movie nights arranged, a management cocktail evening, DJ nights with the amazing Alex who takes all your 80's requests, but all done very tastefully. There are even volleyball games with guests and staff together, which was a great way to meet more of the wonderful people at Rahaa. It was really heartwarming to see Ismail (Rahaa Host and Manager) playing alongside all the other members of staff at volleyball. The restaurant staff were so incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring your water glass was never empty, clearing plates and cutlery away promptly and also had the biggest smiles. We were lucky to meet Kanchan, Vamshi, Nargiza as well as others who were all so helpful and made each and every meal in the restaurant a true delight. A special mention also to the wonderful Ameen, Govin, and Lokendra who all were such lovely, kind, helpful people. The Rahaa Resort must be one of the best holiday destinations in the Maldives and the magic ingredient is truly the amazing staff, 'The 'Rahaa Family' who were such a privilege to meet. Thank you to you all for making our stay so special. We really hope to return one day.…
