History will show that I only ever write a review when I feel the proprietors have made a special effort to develop their establishment and are warm and welcoming hosts. In The Manse I have found such a business.. A true gem.. The property, which has 3 fine letting rooms, ( all with their own facilities), is set in a...

Spent 2 nights in tbis beautiful house which is ideally located for transport and all the centre has to offer. My room was immaculately presented, very quiet and had all the facilities required. Breakfast was superb, and the attention to detail outstanding. Highly recommended and will stay again when next in Eastbourne.

We have stayed at The Manse twice now and thoroughly enjoyed it. The owners are friendly and helpful, the room is immaculate and the breakfast, delicious ! The Manse is a short walk to shops and beach but still far enough to be away from all the hustle and bustle. My 3 year old son came with us and the...

Stayed here on a single room basis over a weekend. The price was well discounted from the full room rate and so the value for money was even better. It's comfortable, spotless and very quiet, although only a few minutes' walk away from the railway station and all facilities. Hosts are friendly without being in any way intrusive. Breakfast was...

The B & B is immaculate and deserves its five star rating. The room we stay in, Southfields, was scrupulously clean. Breakfast was excellent with a great choice of locally sourced ingredients. Although John was there to provide a friendly welcome, we didn't see much of him throughout our stay as he was busy cooking the breakfast. Anne was extremely...
