Great position, easy parking. The hotel is tatty and the furniture has seen better days...spotlessly clean, comfy bed and pillows, tea and coffee replaced daily and lots of it, helpful staff, free internet in bedrooms, would stay again.

Set around half a mile from the town centre of Eastbourne, with just a small walk to the beach itself, this hotel is idyllic for anyone who wants a break away from the hustle and bustle that life brings. Rooms are of decent sizing and cleaned to perfection everyday, with access to massage therapy and such on site. Spent 4...

No problem having the dog. We had a shabby but clean and comfortable room. Very cheap so can't complain. Not much water pressure for the shower but it was hot. Excellent location with places to eat nearby. No one around when checking out so had to leave keys in reception. Would stay again if taking dog.

Booked two rooms for a business stay for colleagues. Tried to cancel after one night due to the poor standards, this is definitely not a 3 star hotel. My colleagues were covered in bites after been eaten alive all night by bed bugs. The shower was a slight trickle of water, the rooms are shabby and tired. The manager refused...

I had a nice room with a sea view. Serviced every day. It was the most comfortable bed ever and the pillows are amazing. Extra blankets were provided but not needed as the room was nice and warm. Hairdryer and toiletries are provided along with plenty of tea and coffee. Had no problems parking in the square, the wonderful host...

Stayed here when in Eastbourne for a night out. This hotel is an amazing find and an amazing price. My partner and I attended a show which was at the Congress theatre which turned out to be just across the road from the hotel. The hotel is a beautiful Victorian building which has a lot of original features. The bedroom...

There was no real greeting on our arrival just shown to our rooms. We were in the basement rooms which were dark and dingy with a high wall for a view. The room smelt musty and the furniture looked like it had been found in the local dump. I immediately asked to be moved. the next room was a little...

Was meant to be a double room but was size of a single. Furniture looked like it came from a second hand shop. Was the sort of place you would expect social services to put people. Horrible carpets, curtains didn't fit, some detector beeping.

Booked a 3 night stay here rated on Booking.Com as 3 star. Was asked by hotel what time we would be arriving room was not ready. It had a terrible smell when you entered a very musty smell. Sprayed our room with Impulse. The wallpaper was hanging off in places the paint chipped the carpets looked old. We paid £86...
