Hotel was really nice looks like a massive office block from outside run down . But inside it is lovely very well laid out clean . We had a budget room with no window (I knew this when I booked ) when I got to the room it was like a Sauna so hot couldn't stay there had to move...

Disappointed. Should have been so much better. Front is great but thereafter goes down hill. Decore is tired, rooms are less than ok, dirty, far too hot & beds were hard. When raised as I checked out, no understanding - poor response. Food I bar is poor. Sadly, an over-priced, old fashioned, run down relic.

The hotel was booked through a Groupon offer from our daughter as Christmas present, which consisted of a standard room, breakfast, three course meal with a bottle of wine. As it was my husband's birthday it felt an ideal opportunity to use it. We arrived at the hotel and was offered on street parking for £1 or for £4 you...

This hotel advertises itself as a 4* hotel and it used to be but on my recent visit it had all changed. The ownership has changed hands and all the 4* bits have gone. No tissues, flannels, body lotion, sewing kits or water in the rooms now. No cooked breakfast delivered from room service only continental. The hotel still has...

Decided to have a cheeky night away on a whim. On arrival we were informed that we could park on the road or in the car park cheaply ( far better than Brighton!) at a cost of £1 (road) £4 car park attached to the hotel. Being January the roads were quiet but during the summer I doubt it is...

Stayed at the cavendish in what was advertised as a double sea view room. The view was incredible! From the outside of the hotel the room (116) is right in the middle of the building above the main door with a large decked balcony. The room was a bit on the small side but the bed was a super king...

Very hard to rate this hotel. Good points - wonderful building , grand staircases, lovely public rooms, great dining room - i would have loved to have see it in its hayday! The staff were all friendly and welcoming. Bad points - our room was very poor. I wasn't expecting much, as we booked with a Groupon voucher, and it...

We have stayed in the Cavendish Hotel Eastbourne many times but unfortunately it has gone badly down hill. We had no heat in our room but were supplied with a convector heater and the radiator was fixed but the room and bathroom were in need of cleaning, a vacuum would have helped and the bathroom was far from acceptable. Reception...

Enjoyed a most relaxing stay at this quality hotel. Our room on the fourth floor had a wonderful seaview which was delightful. The room was spacious and the bathroom massive! All furnishings were of good quality and everything was spotless. We were welcomed in a friendly manner, and the staff were helpful giving us information about Eastbourne and soya milk...
