A message to Ms A Santoro I have stayed in this hotel a few times and visited as a guest several times . I was SO pleased to be returning . On arrival late 9.15 pm reception staff were pleasant and my room was allocated . No one offered to help me however no problem. I arrived finally at the... More

We stayed for one night with after a visit to a local theatre. The hotel is generally of a very high standard. In a very good location for the theatres, the seafront and for shopping, the staff are very pleasant, but the bed, oh the bed. I have slept on some hard beds but this one was the worst. For... More

We stayed for just one night last week as a last minute trip for my wife's birthday. We were given room 310 which was fantastic, very spacious with sea view and balcony. The bed was great and the bathroom thankfully equipped with a toothbrush as I had forgotten my own. The shower was awesome. The location is fairly prominent, near... More

Stayed here for a night whilst visiting the theatre. Great location on the seafront and only a 5min walk to the theatres, bars, restauarants. Hotel has its own parking, but also plenty of on street parking. Booked a double with sea view. The room was much larger than expected and was perfect for a nights stay. The bed was comfortable,... I stayed here mid-Nov; for a dance event (salsa). Staff were helpful and able to assist with all of my queries. Good choice for breakfast and restaurant and kitchen staff catered to my specific requests. Bar and suites for the event were of a good standard. Great location. However, I was surprised about the rooms which are of differing standards... More

This is the tenth time that I have stayed at the Cavendish this year. After reading various recent reviews on TA I was a apprehensive as to what I would find. I am pleased to report I found the hotel as good as ever. The rooms are still done to the Bonnington standard. The Reception staff are still the best... More

I'm so disappointed that I didn't get the same great service that other reviewers did. No one asked me at check in if I wanted help with my bags. My room was huge and as a result perminantly cold. The service in the bar was painfully slow and inadequate. Ordered food took 50 mins to arrive - When our food... More

Spent a lovely evening at the Cavendish. A lovely warm greeting, smooth booking in process , a porter to help with my bags. A lovely walk along the parade before my meal in the restaurant overlooking the twinkling lights along the prom. Room was comfortable , not too hot like some hotel rooms, loads of space and a comfy bed... More

For al older hotel it was reasonably updated. Decoration did need some attention. The service was very good, meals were average. Good selection at breakfast but why tinned oranges and grapefruit. We had a sea view room which was pleasant but really quite expensive over £300 for two nights (inch breakfast only)
