Ideally located on the sea front and close to the Towner Art gallery. Public rooms are spacious and clean. Members of reception and front desk staff were amiable and efficient. Check in and out speedily done. Free wifi throughout. My bedroom had no scenic views. However, it was quiet, clean and comfortable and with the attached bathroom possessed the usual...

Situated on Eastbourne's seafront, the Cavendish Hotel is perfectly situated. Upon walking in we were greeted by staff who were friendly, courteous and helpful throughout our stay. We were delighted to have been given a room on the third floor in the modern wing with a view of the sea. The room was spacious, comfortable and well furnished, with a...

My friend and I booked into this hotel not expecting to have one of only a few rooms with a balcony. However we were delighted when we found that we had been given one right in front of the bandstand. During the summer, concerts are played daily there so we were able to enjoy 2 from our own private balcony...

The hotel was really excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was great. The spa facility is a real bonus as well and the library has to be seen to be believed. I would definitely go there again.

The primary problem with this hotel was hotel was its extremely poor value for money. We paid £189.00 for one night with breakfast. For this, we expected a thoroughly luxurious and welcoming environment. However, we were met by a polite and friendly member of the desk staff with whom communication was unnecessarily difficult, then the residents' lift that was out...

We stayed here last weekend and had a great time. The location is great right on the sea front so you can walk to the Pier and town. It overlooks that bandstand so if you are planning a visit take a look online and see whats on at the bandstand and if you are at the front of the hotel...

I stayed here for nearly a week whilst working at the tennis tournament and found the hotel to be very good. I had one of the rooms at the back in the more modern side of the hotel. Although it lacked the views available from the front rooms it was certainly cooler than sea view it was certainly less hot...

Only had one night here to attend a Wedding, lovely hotel, clean, tidy, nice staff, beautiful sea view (cost a little more) would love to return for longer. Some items could do with updating but overall a good experience, lovely breakfast with attentive staff.

This former luxury hotel has apparently changed hands from being a Bonnington led, ideally located 'old school' traditional refuge to be part of a new regime, exposing the frailties of the latter. Whereas you could always rely on the former management to ensure standards of courtesy and respect for customers, there is now doubt and signs of the lowering of...
