We stayed at the Arden for a couple of nights on a short break exploring Eastbourne. The location is excellent, the room & bathroom were spotless, & the bed incredibly comfy! The breakfast was really tasty. Tracy & Ray couldn't have been any more helpful, no request was any bother, & knowing that it was my partner's birthday, they went...

I had the privilege to stay there last November for two nights. It was such a great experience. The owners were really nice and welcoming. It is in an ideal location close to the beach. The whole place is very comfortable and decorated with much taste. The breakfast was declicious.

We needed accomadation that allowed dogs. Right in the sea front. Parking outside. Reasonably priced. Owner directed us to pubs that catered for dogs. Breakfast was nice, very filling. I would Reccomened it for location and value for money. Rooms clean with nice ensuite and comfortable beds.

A big thank you to my hosts for making me so welcome - my room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Lovely lounge downstairs and delicious cooked breakfast. The location couldn't be better- so near to theatres, sea front, shops etc. It was a pleasure to stay there with such kind, hospitable owners.

We stayed at the Arden for a weekend at the beginning of April. The location is fantastic, just a couple of minutes walk from the sea front. Inside, we were given a very friendly welcome by the proprietors. We had the family room, which in reality is a double and a twin with a shared entrance and bathroom. This is...

We were made very welcome by Ray and Tracy - upgraded on arrival. Everything was well organised and clearly explained. We were helped to park behind the hotel, there are 3 spaces. Lovely big sitting room with books tv and DVDs to use as we liked. Our room was comfortable, great shower and everything was very clean. We slept well....

Plants in the hall were left dying. Room is ok, a chair didn't fit a table and stood just in front of it, in a small room. Cups and glasses in the dining room were covered with dust. And... surprise! Toasts made from white bread with mould!! Horrible! Wanted to leave that place as soon as possible.

Eastbourne is brilliant and the Arden is the perfect place to stay. Ray and Tracey take good care of you and the hotel is just off the sea front. Lovely building near to all the facilities offering good value and an excellent breakfast, and our Greyhound's welcome too!
