Stayed two nights at Ty Carthen, best B&B we have found. Excellent rooms, nothing too much trouble and marvellous breakfast. Mark and Debbie made the whole stay an absolute joy! Would highly recommend to anyone.

We have just got back from spending the weekend in Llandudno having stayed at the truly fabulous Ty Carthen B&B! We arrived on Friday and were able to park in their car park which holds up to 4 cars situated behind the B&B. You can enter the property via the rear entrance & down some steps where there is a gorgeous outdoor seating area if the weather is good or through the front door if you have parked on the road. We were greeted by Mark who is so welcoming and helped us with our luggage and showed us around downstairs and up to our room (Room 3). The room was absolutely beautiful, very tastefully decorated with a superb stylish ensuite bathroom. Everywhere is immaculate and every detail has been thought of. We had large fluffly towels on a heated towel rail, soft luxury bedding and the bed was so comfy I didn't want to get up! There are tea & coffee facilities within the rooms and in the landing there are more tea/coffee and biscuits and a small fridge with fresh milk and a bottle of water for each guest - a very thoughtful touch! In the room there was a tv that had Freeview channels, information packs and even an Echo Dot - perfect to set an alarm. Breakfast is served at 8.30am - 9.30am of which there is an excellent choice, you place your breakfast order the night before from a ticklist provided but you can also help yourself to cereal, yoghurts, fresh fruit and fresh delicious juices (not the cheap concentrated rubbish). We even found some tasty Welsh cakes in our room after a long day out - YUM! Debbie & Mark are the perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble, they are absolutely lovely, genuine and caring hosts.....simply the best! The only downside to the Ty Carthen is that it is sooooo good I worry that they will be fully booked forever with no availability for us to book again! Thank you Debbie & Mark for making our trip so fabulous! xxxx

This gem of a B&B was incredibly easy to find and very well located. The owners made me feel instantly welcome, nothing was a problem and they went above and beyond throughout my stay. The accommodation is beautiful, the room was immaculate and the bed was quite honestly the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. I am usually a fussy eater but the welsh breakfast was divine. Truth be told, I enjoyed my stay so much I really didn't want to go home. I would definitely stay at the Ty Carthen again and will be certain to recommend it to anyone I hear planning a trip in the direction of Llandudno.

We arrived on Friday afternoon and followed the directions we had been sent directing us to the Parking spaces at the rear of the property, enough for 4 small to medium cars. We decided to enter the property from the rear and had to walk down about 12 steep steps, I have mobility problems and use a crutch to help me mobilise you can if you wish walk around to the front. On arrival Mark came out introduced himself and assisted us with are luggage and showed us the Lounge and the Dining Room then took us up 2 flights of stairs to Room number 3 on the first floor. We were certainly not disappointed the decor was beautiful. The Room was warm and inviting and you were given a Key for your Room and a Key to the Front Door. The Bed was comfortable and the bedding lovely, there was plenty of coat hangers and storage. The Bathroom was big and bright with a full length shower cubicle and a fantastic shower. The towels were white and fluffy and kept warm on a heated towel rail. The bathroom had lots of little extras shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and hand wash. There was a hairdryer, the TV had free view channels and there was an Echo Dot and a complimentary tray with Tea, Coffee and Biscuits also on the landing outside the Rooms there is a sideboard with extra Tea, Coffee and Biscuits and a small fridge containing Bottles of Water, Milk and Cordial there is also a Coffee Machine and pods if you fancy a posh Coffee. In your Room there are folders with lots of information about Ty Carthen times of Breakfast, Checkout etc but also one telling you about Dr's, Dentists, Eateries, Pubs etc and What's On within the area. We went out and on returning to our Room Debbie had left some Welsh Cakes for us and they were delicious. Breakfast was served between 8.30 - 9.30 in the Dining Room there was Fresh Fruit, Cereals, Yogurts, Preserves, Fresh Juices which you didn't need to order but you placed your order for cooked food the night before by ticking the form which is left in your room. The Breakfast was cooked to perfection by Debbie, Mark served us providing copious amounts of Hot Drinks and Toast, nothing was too much trouble. We stayed for 2 nights and we will definitely stay here again without a doubt. Debbie and Mark are perfect Hosts so friendly, helpful and approachable, Ty Carthen is spotlessly clean with beautiful decor and a homely feel. We wish Debbie and Mark every success and Thank them for making our stay so enjoyable.

Visited here for two days after making late booking due to a cancellation. Am so glad we found this as having previously stayed in other establishments in Llandudno, this was simply the best. Received very warm welcome from the owners and made to feel so at home. Room was superb and oozed luxury with top quality linen and furnishings. The breakfast had an excellent choice and tasted superb being beautifully presented. It was the little things that set this place apart from others including a wide choice of guest refreshments available on the landing also including a small fridge with fresh milk and water. The whole experience was one of enjoyment and we will definitely return. Totally recommended.

Thank you so much for a fabulous stay. Everything was just right. The decor was lovely. The bed and pillows were so so comfy I slept like a dream. The breakfast was cooked perfectly. The parking is an added bonus as Llandudno gets ever more popular. The location is the best we,ve had. Almost don,t want to share this information in case Ty Carthen gets too popular for us to book!
