this was the first time we had stayed at the Marlborough which we chose because it was pet friendly. The building is typical of a Victorian seaside hotel and is ideally placed for the seafront and local shops. We were particularly impressed with how all staff and the owner were so attentive to our needs. My partner and I were...

The staff are very friendly the hotel was clean and the room was more than comfortable. We also took our 2 dogs with us and it was the first time they had stayed in a hotel and there was no problems. Overall I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and we will definitely be returning (as long as we can take...

Stayed here with a group of friends, the staff are so friendly, go out of their way to be helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable, a bit dated, but have everything you need for a good nights sleep. Chris the bar man is really good, chatty, friendly, yet very efficient. Good food with fair choice in the restaurant, prepared...

We were booked in a different hotel which we left after one night. We have stayed here many times and decided to ask if there was a room as there was already a coach party booked in. We were lucky and have nothing but praise for this hotel where the staff and management are so friendly. There is a lift...

The Marlborough came to our rescued when we were let down by the baytree hotel. Rooms were very nice, breakfasts were very good. The staff were amazing, really friendly and helpful. Particular mention for Chris in the bar and Gareth on reception who made a real fuss of us and our dog. Look Forward to going back again!
