We booked this trip Christmas trip in 2019, and because of Lockdown, it didn’t go ahead until 2020, but It was very much worth the wait! This is a fantastic Hotel, conveniently positioned on the Seafront with parking at the rear of the Hotel. The Town itself, is only a short walk from the Hotel. The Staff took our cases up to our room which was on the first floor. It was a lovely room with a huge bed, and a large walk in shower. Plenty of room to unpack. It also had a fabulous view which overlooked the Bay. The food was absolutely superb. There was a great variety on offer, with breakfast, brunch, and our evening meals. The Christmas Day, and Boxing Day menus were fabulous, and the portion sizes, not too largeOn Christmas Day, complementary wine was served, which was plentiful! If you wanted more, there was also a “buffet box” available at 11pm. The dining room was brilliantly organised. As it was Christmas, there were also afternoon teas, coffee and cake. The staff were attentive and helpful

We have just returned from another lovely 4-night New Year holiday at the Tynedale Hotel in Llandudno. This medium sized, well appointed hotel has a great team of people who really do look after you. The food is excellent and includes a hearty breakfast, and tailored lunch time or afternoon tea to suit the festivities and a scrumptious evening meal with an extensive menu to tempt all tastes. Our room had a wonderful panoramic view across the town to the hills beyond, with walk in shower and arm chairs and a coffee table, and all was kept very clean. Many rooms are sea view and show a scenic view of the bay. Evening entertainment was, as usual, very good and the lounges offer quiet time for reading or watching the world go by during the day. It is rare to find all you want in a hotel, but this hotel comes high on our list. All the very best for the New Year to the "hands on" owners and their team.

After many attempts, we were lucky to book a two night break at the Tynedale. Car park was a bonus, although a flight of stairs have to be climbed to reach reception. We were given the option of booking evening meal, although it was 7 courses (usually too much for us) we decided to book it, rather than venturing out in the cold night air. It was a Holly and Mistletoe special menu apparently, as there was a coach party staying there. We were so glad we booked it, as the food was delicious, and at £22.50 per head was amazing value. The cafe bar was well stocked, and entertainment in the evening was very good. All the staff were friendly, helpful, polite and dedicated. Breakfasts were also very good with some interesting additions to a 'normal' breakfast menu! Our room was a bit on the small side, but was comfortable, warm and clean. The decor in the room, and throughout the hotel was luxurious. We would have prefered a sea view room, but there never seems to be any available. Maybe all reserved for people on coach tours? This has got to be the best hotel in Llandudno. It's positioned centrally, opposite the bandstand, so easy to walk to the pier and Great Orme. We would love to return as we often pass this way.
