The Queens is a reallly nice looking building situated on Llandudno sea front. We managed to get a parking space right outside and check in was a breeze. The interior was a bit dated and we had no shower in the room, just a bath. The room was clean with plenty of storage for a longer break. The evening meal of braised steak was beautiful and the cooked breakfast was ok too.The hotel is wheelchair accessible and there is a lift. Overall it was a really nice experience, but I think some of the rooms could do with a refurb. 😎

My wife and I stayed 1 night in March. We parked in the hotel and were made welcome by the staff on duty. We had a Seaview room on the second floor which was spacious and very clean so we were well pleased. Breakfast was good and taken in our room due to the bad timing with the Covid 19 virus.( Hotel which we would have postponed but already had other commitments !) Overall good hotel at bargain price, would like to stay again at some later date. The Queens hotel was worth more than a Two Star Rating that it has.!!!

On our last visit for our annual dance break weekend, the hotel was undergoing major refurbishment. The parts that have been completed are very good, with a bright and spacious reception area, a bar area with plenty of seating and the toilet facilities are excellent. The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful with check-in a smoothly run system.Unfortunately beyond this little has been done. Our double bedroom whilst clean, was very shabby with a small wardrobe, a pokey en-suite and badly in need of refurbishing. Getting hot water required a lengthy wait and the waste of a considerable volume of water. However, it was in the dining room where the real issues were to be found. The service was very poor, even on the first evening when we were there were only three couples present. Even at the start of the dinner service some items on the menu were not available and the choices were limited. The food, when it eventually arrived was very basic, clearly cooked from frozen and not very hot. The chocolate brownie dessert came with a choice of cream, ice-cream or custard, but the latter hadn't even been made and when it arrived was the consistency of hot water with no flavour whatsoever. The cost of this was a staggering £16.95 per head. Breakfast each morning offered orange juice or water, 3 cereals in bowls which were so small they would only fit one weetabix, tinned peaches, tinned grapefruit, and porridge. The cooked part had just five items; bacon, sausage, tinned tomatoes, baked beans and one egg, with very slow service. Dinner on the following two evenings was no better; the same vegetable reappeared and on the final evening "a medley of vegetables" turned out to be frozen cauliflower. Drink prices were in my opinion overpriced and in the ballroom downstairs it was on a cash only. This standard of this hotel has deteriorated rapidly and sadly we shall not be returning.

My family and I stayed here for a last minute change for scenery. The bedrooms are warm with clean bedding and comfy beds. The rooms have a well stocked tea/coffee tray and plenty of clean white towels. The seafront hotel is welcoming, functional and provides some free parking. The bar man (older chap) was very friendly and happy to help, plenty of seating in the main bar and areas around the hotel to suit need. The small tv room is nice and has many features. No it’s not the Ritz but it is a family and dog friendly hotel that provides B&B, and other meals if you want them; at a reasonable price.

I've been in this hotel for almost 6 months now (working away) and the staff can't do enough for you. I've stayed in various rooms and they've all been clean and warm with plenty of towels etc. If I work here again or come here for a holiday I will probably use this hotel

Recently visited with my husband, cousin and our dog. Found the hotel ideally situated warm and comfortable. The breakfasts were substantial and well cooked. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Added bonus being dog friendly she enjoyed her morning sausage. Would stay here again. Thank you.

The hotel was in good location. The reception area, bar & restaurant have been refurbished. We stayed in double room on 3rd floor which was clean with a comfortable bed but the room was in need of an up-date & decor was shabby. For what we paid it was okay for one night. We booked for the evening meal and that was disappointing. We both had scampi & chips. The chips were over cooked & soggy. The food was only just warm The bread & butter pudding was dry. Despite this we did enjoy the breakfast the following morning.

Lovely hotel, requested a double room and was given a lovely family room , plenty of room to store clothes, bedroom and en-suite was spotlessly clean as was the whole hotel. All staff were welcoming, polite and friendly, breakfast was lovely , and drinks in the bar were reasonably priced. Entertainment at night was an added bonus and enjoyable. Would like to say on our first night there, it just happened that there was a gentleman in the bar area who was very intoxicated and being argumentative and abusive to the manager and young girl behind the bar. This I must say was dealt with in a very professional manner, this could have put us off from staying at this hotel against , but it hasn’t because of the way the situation was handled . Lovely warm, friendly and clean hotel , look forward to staying again

This hotel is very tired in looks. The staff appear to be fed up. Food at breakfast not brilliant. Bedrooms out dated. Only good point is they have first come parking. Wire on bathroom floor towel rail held to the wall via wire ties

My husband and I were given room 112 not what we were expecting as it had two single beds. Asked in reception if there was any chance of being allocated another room. The young lady was extremely helpful and went out of her way to get us another room. Also the cleaning lady on the 4th floor was very helpful. Will definitely recommend the queens hotel.
