Our second time staying at Hen-Dy and what a beautiful weekend we have had. Under the beautiful stars on Llandudno front, James proposed to me! Staying at Hen-Dy was the perfect way to celebrate our engagement and now we are travelling home excited to come back to the place we love at the hotel we’ve fallen in love with. Thank you Hen-Dy, the place is stunning, lovely and clean - the food is top class, lovingly made and served, with great care and attention to detail. Thank you again for another brilliant weekend

Not often I write a faultless review but that is honestly what our stay was!!!
The staff are friendly yet don’t bother unnecessarily.
We were immediately told how to contact a staff member should we need anything, and that that nothing was too much trouble.
The rooms are modern, clean, spacious and comfortable, with a small dining table too eat your dinner/breakfast served to your room.
Although we didn’t eat dinner I can say that the breakfast was cooked too perfection and you get one heck of a lot of quality food for your money!

Genuinely faultless and hassle free! You won’t be disappointed!

Thank you hen-dy! We will definitely be visiting again!

Just returned from a 4 night stay in the fabulous Hen-Dy, superbly run by great hosts Ian and Tracey who were most helpful and always on hand.
We stayed in Room 12 (the one with no windows!) which is on the ground floor nearby the entrance to the hotel but we found it most peaceful, spacious with an excellent AC system, large shower cubicle and storage space, a double and single bed, dressing table and 3 chairs for watching the large screen TV. We didn't see it as necessary to have a window as if you want a view just go out the front door (and you also don't get any street noise or seagulls waking you up at 4am!)
Breakfast was excellent and the location superb for all attractions, bars and restaurants.
On busy weekends, a word of advice...drop off your luggage at the door and park the car on the train station (10 mins walk at the end of the town centre) for £2 for 12 hours until about 5pm and then go fetch it to park for free on a back street when it's a bit quieter and take it back to the train station for the day from about 10am. Saves you riding round and round the streets hoping to get lucky! You will also see 'Alice' across the road from the train station.

Thanks for taking the time to give us this great feedback and the 5******'s. It's nice to read you had a great stay in room 12, although no windows it is one of our biggest rooms and like you say very quiet and just a few steps out of the door you can see the sea. We look forward to welcome you both back in the future. Ian & Tracey

Stayed 3 nights at Hen-dy and were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived. We were very kindly helped out with a parking space at the hotel as we found difficulty in parking the car. We stayed in a low floor room ( no 1) at the rear of the hotel, a triple room with a big bay window the room and bathroom were lovely decorated and spotlessly clean. There was a flat screen tv, tea and coffee facilities and also a hairdryer. There was a variety of options for breakfast and the cooked breakfast was lovely and hot. The hotel is situated just across from the beach, close to the pier and a couple of minutes into the centre of town an ideal location. There is a lounge where you can get a drink from the fridge and pay to the honesty box which is an excellent idea if there is no bar. Lovely decorated lounge and also a small seating area to have your drink in front of the hotel. Thank you Ian and Tracey for your hospitality. Hopefully we will be staying with you again in the future.

We are currently staying at Hen Dy in llandudno what a secret gem . The hosts are amazing we are not needing over attention at breakfast and the hosts know when to back off they have got this balance absolutely correct giving attention to those who want it. The Hen Dy is immaculate we normally stay in 5 star hotels and I can say they could learn something from this resident

The breakfast is all from a local butcher and the eggs are stunning they taste like they have hens in their back yard (they don't) (they have beautiful bright yellow yoke) Tbe cleanliness needs to be over emphased they have a lounge for guests to enjoy the views it is Super clean as are all their bedrooms This which gives confidence that I would definitely come back with my family would recommend Hen Dy to couples and to everyone

Thanks Jacqueline for the Excellent comments. It's nice to learn we are on par with some 5* hotels. We do pride ourselves on cleanliness of the property and the breakfast we serve with good quality local produce, it would be nice to have our own chickens too, but free range from a local farm is the nearest we get. Enjoy the rest of your stay Ian & Tracey

Ian and Tracy were the perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble for them.
We were very lucky to get room 3, which has to have the best sea view in Llandudno
The room itself was immaculate, exactly as shown on the website, with a beautiful bathroom and a very comfortable bed
The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful with quality local butchers produce
A nice touch was a bar with an honesty box, stocked with a wide range of drinks at a very reasonable price
There is very limited parking at that end of Llandudno, but Ian will always advise where to park.
Would love to return next year

I had a brilliant stay at Hen-Dy over the weekend. Firstly, everything was spotless and there is plenty of hand sanitiser and cleaning products dotted around for peace of mind. Ian and Tracey were able to organise parking for me which was much appreciated, I would recommend organising this a week or so prior to your trip to guarantee a spot, there are only a few available.

My room (5) was spotless, with plenty of large towels, tea and coffee facilities and a great shower! It was spacious and well furnished. You can see all rooms on the Hen Dy website so you're able to pick which is best suited for you, there are options for sea views or rear mountain views.

Breakfast in the morning was perfect, a brilliant selection and even some vegan options available. The lounge is a lovely place to sit and look out onto the beach, pier and promenade, featuring a well-stocked honesty bar. In sunny weather, the patio out the front would be a beautiful place to sit.

Overall, a perfect stay, made even better with the fantastic service provided by Ian and Tracey who make you feel welcome and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Fantastic hotel, fantastic food and fantastic owners, we will definitely be returning to room 7 very soon 🌈 hotel rooms recently decorated and the bedroom fittings are just lovely . Phone USB connection on either side of the bed . TV with DVD player. The best touch in this room was the binoculars that are available to check out the amazing views in more detail. The owners are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble they arranged a carpark space for me straight away. We stayed during the lockdown when retail had opened up but no pubs or restaurants to sit and eat in. This hotel offers evening meals. The hotel was excellent in its Covid restrictions and we felt very happy and safe to stay. Hand gels , wipes signage all around the hotel to make sure the high standards of covid rules where met. Thankyou for our stay Joanne & Roy xx

Thanks for the 5* review Joanne & Roy. It was lovely to meet you both and we are glad you enjoyed room 7 and the food, this room as others has been re-decorated during lockdown and has some of the best views of Llandudno bay in the town. We are are also offering dinners during the Covid period until restaurants can re-open to try and help make guests stays more of a holiday in this difficult period. If you book direct with us we operate a 1st booked parking space allocation, so always best to get in early. We look forward to see you both again. Stay safe Ian & Tracey

We were warmly welcomed on our arrival by Ian & Tracy, parking was a real plus.
The hotel’s location is is spot on, being a stones throw from the beach and only yards from the town centre.
The hotel has obviously been recently refurbished to a very high standard, the room we stayed in was really tastefully set out and comfortable.
In the morning the breakfast we were served with was second to none, we were spoilt by the selection available, we would definitely book again without any hesitation.

What a lovely weekend we have had in Llandudno staying at the Hen Dy. we were lucky to have booked early and got a parking space in front of the guest house as part of the stay which was so convenient! The location of the guest house is absolutely perfect, short walk to the pier, beach and we had a lovely sea view. We stayed in the family adjoining rooms (9+10) on the third floor which were clean and comfortable, lovely chairs to sit on and enjoy the views. Breakfast was amazing, quick service and delicious. Would definitely return and recommend to others, thank you Tracey and Ian :)
