Visited as part of a 1 night holiday package with Caledonian travel. Staff were very friendly and helpful (especially dining room staff). Right on sea front so views are fantastic and Llandudno is a super place to visit. This hotel is about 10 mins seafront walk from bars/cafes etc. 3 course evening meal was served in record time! Was enjoyable especially the soup and chicken. Breakfast again was nice with a decent choice (maybe could offer another choice of eggs?). Yes the rooms (particularly bathrooms) could do with updating but we found the main areas to be well presented. Honestly for the price we paid we were very happy.
Lovely hotel stayed for one night only thing was that there were dogs barking not expecting that after a long day wanted to relax theat as put me of staying there again room was nice and clean though t
The service of the hotel is a big disappointment. Hotel workers were only polite to British residents, not tourists. The hotel participates in the program of assistance to refugees from Ukraine, for which many thanks to the state, which I cannot say about the staff. I am an Israeli with Ukrainian roots, I just came to rest and faced discrimination. Hotel staff share places where Ukrainians and British should sit. I ordered dinner at the hotel, with payment of course, at the entrance to the restaurant instead of hello, I heard a question or I paid at all and I can’t choose my own place where to sit, since I am obliged to sit with the Ukrainians and only, the hotel staff explained that the rest of the places are reserved , although there were almost no guests in the hotel, it became clear that this was a lie. Besides that, I heard one waitress say that there is a lot of food in the restaurant, but good for normal people, and the rest for Ukrainians. I had to cancel dinner. Won't be back and don't recommend any Israeli to visit this place.…
Price was good. Free street parking although finding a spot was a struggle. Room was spacious and bed was comfy. However, it needed some TLC. Curtain was missing hooks and was partly hanging off the rail. Shower room was dated and tacky. I had to insist to get shower gel which normally comes with the room and there was hardly any left on arrival. To me this is unforgivable. Staff should really check the whole room to make sure it is ready before guest arrives. Staff delayed several hours and when I asked again for the gel, I hot attitude from reception staff afterwards although the housekeeper who brought the gel was friendly.
My abiding memory of my stay at the County Hotel will be the awesome customer service that I experienced from the wonderful staff; extremely polite and friendly, got the impression that they would do anything that was in their power to make my stay a comfortable one, they exceeded my expectations throughout the stay. The hotel it would seem is under a period of renovation and refurbishment at the time I stayed yet the room was excellent, comfortable and above all, warm on a very cold winters day. The location is right in the main seafront yet the town centre and railway station is a good twenty minute walk away. I paid the right price for my stay and would return if the same value for money was offered once more.
Just stayed here it was wonderful the food was fine dining the room was clean well presented ,it's an old Victorian building ,but the staff had made it into a lovely modern interior ,ok ceaky floorboards old hallways upstairs ,but an excellent stay ,if I had to ask for anything it was done straight away give this a go you won't be disappointed

Excellent 3 night stay with a very good breakfast [self service] Lots of choice from fruit to bacon. Excellent sea views [On beach road] and a comfortable bed and very clean. Ate out at night so cannot review dinner menu. 10 minute walk into town. We parked in Hotel grounds [charge] but adequate street parking nearby. Staff excellent. Will return.
Let's start by saying the hotel is lovely really friendly staff and good food.drinks reasonable not sure why it's card only as cash is king.the room was spacious for myself with a sea view and bath.large TV and desk area close to lift which is a bonus.great for seeing the sights of Llandudno or further a field. The steps into the hotel are dangerous when wet. I will definitely stay here again
We stayed Mon - Fri at The County Hotel, Llandudno, which is situated right on the front. We did not book a parking space but were able to park right outside the hotel each day, as due to it being October, parking is free between 4pm and 10am. There were plenty of parking spaces. Our room was on the first floor and it had an excellent view of the Great Orme, the bay, and the sea, and very the very long promenade. The room was well decorated and warm. The double glazed window was easily opened for ventilation. The bathroom was large and had a walk in easily operated shower, with plenty of hot water. The bedding and towels were clean and we slept well. We we very comfortable in our room. Breakfast was buffet style and we had cereal, and a full English breakfast. There were lots of other items on offer and we found the breakfast very filling and delicious. Evening meal was waiter/ waitress served with several choices of starter, main course, and dessert. The meals were all tasty and filling and were served by very pleasant and obliging waiting staff. Entertainment was provided on two of the 4 nights with female singers. Both were very good singers and provided good entertainment. We have stayed at The County Hotel previously, quite a few years ago,and we will not leave it so long before we stay again. Thanks to all the friendly staff who made our stay so pleasant.
