Stayed for 3 night on bed and breakfast basis. Everything was as expected, service and staff very good, breakfast brilliant and room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Thoroughly enjoyed it, only downside is the walk into town, approx 1 mile and good thing it's flat!

We arrived on coach trip for 8days, to be greeted by having to lug our own bags to our room and yet the coach company said that there was no one to help. So after that we were also told to go direct to the dining room as our allocated time for dinner was now otherwise no dinner, also we were told that we had to pay for cups of tea with all our meals. The room was very drab the colour scheme was like they were painting a battleship. The doors were just one coated very rough, the staff didn’t care and put disabled people up on the third floor with corridors that were no wider than 3feet wide, which made life interesting when pulling a slightly wider suitcase. If there had been a fire we would have all died for sure. The room security was awful one felt that a wind blow in the wrong direction the door would open. All in all do not stay here unless you like waiting for ever for food to be served in the dining room.

I've just come back from a lovely 5 day break at the county hotel. We had a twin room.with side Seaview room 216 it was quite big very clean and bath and shower. We had breakfast and dinner (tea) there's lot of choice for breakfast all you can eat Dinner you had choice of 3 meals on each starter main and dessert. It was obvious they were very short staffed and I didn't like the comments that the other guests were making thought the guests were quite rude. The staff worked so hard and kept smiling throughout the stay In the restaurant and reception and bar.wish people would be KIND! The hotel is about a 15 20 minute walk in town taxis cost about £3.20 to town .
