Nice hotel, very pleasant and polite staff, all extremely helpful. Food was of good quality and nice and hot. Hotel situated on the sea front so ideal for a walk along the prom and also close to shops Does have a lift which is small so there may be a wait at times.

Friendly staff, clean rooms.... great views. Definitely a winner. Rooms are good value, however the hotel's lift is ancient, but the people working here makes up for it. Everything you may need is available on request. Highly recommended.

Well decorated & spotlessly clean hotel in a prime location , booked late just for a good rest after health problems . We got a large room (221) overlooking the mountains with quality white bedding & towels . I am disabled so the lift to all floors & the walk in shower in our great bathroom were a bonus ....

Hotel is well located on the seafront within easy walking distance of the town centre. Our room was at the rear overlooking the car park with the hills beyond. Whilst on the small side the room was spotlessly clean and provided all facilities we required. The shower room was small but well appointed. The food was very good and plentiful....

Average hotel, rooms very similiar to a premier Inn. We're in room 220 which has a nice sea view, comfortable bed and decent sized bathroom. Only negatives is that as a young couple (late 20s) we found it to be aimed more towards the older clientele, and that was mirrored in the menu offered. Also unless we'd read other reviews...

Hotel was on seafront, near to shops, pubs, etc. Room was comfortable and breakfast was good. Car park around back of hotel ( you need to go in to get code before you can get into car park) - no one on reception when I went in had to wait a couple of minutes. - would be helpful if a note...

Mainly used by package tourists the hotel is adequate for those requiring minimum services. The in- house rules regarding ordering dinner menus at breakfast time, the unavailability of coffee to be served at breakfast and the small selection of draught beers in the bar are typical. The lift was unreliable and guests on the third floor found the electricity supply...

One of the first things I look at anywhere, is how happy are the staff? This is a direct reflection of how management look after their hotel. Here at the Kensington the staff seem really happy and are really helpful. Breakfast is freshly cooked and really good. We had a first floor bay window room with a great view of...
