I ended up here for one with my grand daughter after a mix up with my original booking at another hotel. We got there and the door was locked so had to be let in by a scruffy looking man. Room was small carpet misisng round bedside cabinet. Windows and curtains were filthy. Duvet cover was more like a king...

First of all let me say I find your comments extremely rude and totally unacceptable, you make assumptions that are as inaccurate and inappropriate as your usage of the English language, rancid for example is normally associated with fats & oils, how you can end up somewhere is a bit of a mystery since you had and made a choice,...

At first I read these horrendous reviews and thought surely it can't be this bad, well as you can tell from the review title I should have believed the previous reviews, you can tell the caliber of the venue by how much time the owners seem to spend on here. Writing cleverly worded yet vicious comments back to paying customers...

I take it you appear to think you have the monopoly on vicious comments, I wont gratify you by adding cleverly, since I find nothing of that calibre in your cavalcade of complaints about common sense procedures, the keys which have nothing to do with going into your room, which of course we do in the case of more than...

First of all i would like to express how much attention the hotel needs to get it up to its two star expectations, as it is two stars i wasnt expecting it to be like the Hilton hotel, and after reading the reviews on here i wasnt expecting much either although i thought "it cant be that bad" however when...

Hotel is fairly tired and in need of updating but is ok if you just need a bed to sleep in and a shower etc. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful but this isn't somewhere you would come for a romantic stay or family holiday. Not bad though

Shabby rooms, shower doesn't work, noisy at night . could only stand one night but charged for two , they rob you before you even get there. do not book through booking .com as they don't want to know when you complain. NEVER AGAIN

Good points: Friendly staff with a warm welcome Great location walking distance to everything Clean enough Comfortable bed Breakfast included and a friendly waitress Negative: Could do with some decorating, bathroom very tired Floor above us was really creaky, obviously didn't drink enough to block out the sound of people moving about above! Overall, not a bad place. Bit run...

I doubt I'd stay here again, tho the staff are very polite and friendly and breakfast was nice the room was tired and needs some tlc. The curtains are hanging off the rails, the cold tap in the bathroom made a horrible noise, wallpaper off in bathroom which also had no lock and the sunk was cracked, we were in...

if your going to quote TV programmes then you should ensure you fully understand them, Your understanding of fawlty towers is flawed, to my certain knowledge it never had a complaint about the rooms or the heating and contrary to your poor review the plot was mostly if not always regarding staff, manager and guest interactions, your review is most...
