We stayed in a twin bedded suite on the second floor, with great views of the sea and the promenade. The room was very spacious, with large sitting and sleeping areas in delightful Victorian style. We didn't mind the 2 floor walk up given how much we liked the room. Breakfast, which was good but unremarkable, is in he neighboring Empire Hotel, a 5 minute walk away. the restaurant at the Osborne House itself was excellent, and very reasonably priced. Overall, a wonderful experience.
Loved the hotel and the location was brilliant. The food in the hotel was delicious and great value. However AVOID going to the sister hotel the Empire for cooked breakfast - it was awful - poor cheap quality food. Stick with the continental in the Osborne,
We were originally told about Osborne house on a previous visit to Llandudno. Fantastic food in lovely surroundings and very friendly and efficient staff. Like eating out used to be. Very elegant. If you treat the staff as you would a friend or family member, then you will be rewarded with reciprocal treatment. (They are not your servants but real people). The best place we have eaten in Llandudno. What a shame it is only open for a few days a week!
Beautiful venue but very disappointed with food and service. We are locals and have waited until the end of the season to visit. Grumpy and rude staff, food basic standard, bread was stale and didn’t enjoy the heavy rock music in the background. It used to be a lot better than it is now. A real shame. Won’t return unfortunately.
Tried to visit Osborne House for drinks on Saturday, 3rd September and turned away by bar staff as was not dining there despite the fact that the bar was completely empty Maybe this was due to not wanting disabled person on crutches in their establishment. Have visited when in area twice before once when not dining and once when dining and no such attitude though wasn’t using crutches Very disappointed in our z49th wedding anniversary weekend - a big 👎
We have stayed here three times now and the Suite is very well appointed with a large bathroom attached. The continental breakfast in your room is ideal, served at a time you chose and more than enough to see you through the morning. Fresh baked bread as the toast apart from Sunday and Monday when they don't bake! Excellent staff all round. The seagulls are a noisy problem but they cannot help that.
First class service; the staff can’t do enough for you. Lounge area, bedroom area and superb bathroom, it’s more like staying in an apartment. The decor is Victorian Chic absolutely stunning. We stayed three nights on the first floor and what a view. Had a cooked breakfast each morning at the sister hotel the Empire, again great service and friendly staff. We will definitely be back.
Back again - it’s very difficult to stay away . Room- beautiful Food- breakfast . We enjoy the continental breakfast that we can relax with and look across at the beautiful Llandudno bay. Food- dinner. Always eat in the Osborne and loved it all - excellent value for money Staff- we love the staff. They are friendly, professional and look after us so well . Really look forward to our next visit in about5 5 months - wish we could go back before then . Thank you everyone for making our visits so special.
I'll start by saying that I always stayed here or at The Empire Hotel or Number 72 whenever I was in North Wales on business. This was a short family break and we were not disappointed. We took the opportunity of also booking the evening meal as well for the 3 night stay. Now one issue we always face is space as we book for 3 adults as we have an adult daughter with Learning Disabilities. Not so at Osborne House - lots of space and separate bedrooms. Add to that excellent food and service for the evening meal. We were extremely well looked after but particularly at the evening meal. The 2 Polish ladies were excellent. Highly recommended - we will be back later in the year,
As our previous visits, (20 plus) faultless. Everything about hotel/restaurant is excellent quality. The food and service were of the highest standard . Osbornes is an excellent venue for a special occasion. Already looking forward to our next visit. Steve Lynne
