Such a wonderful place to stay. Debbie and Ian were extremely welcoming hosts. The home is beautiful with lots of antique furniture that’s simply beautiful. The rooms were very clean with all the necessaries such as tea/coffee and toiletries. The towels were very fluffy and soft which was a bonus touch. Debbie and Ian went above and beyond to ensure our breakfast was cooked to a high standard with our own requirements. I couldn’t recommend the Craiglands enough. Thanks for a lovely stay. Clair and Antoni
First visitors since the Craiglands opened up as Wales lifted some of the Covid restrictions. Lovely welcome from Debbie and Ian, lounge closed and no tea on arrival but that was only to be expected with the strict conditions placed on guest house trading. The DVD library and books had been withdrawn because of sanitising issue, again expected. Room spotless as usual, breakfast superb and inspite of teasing me about witholding the china tea pots, they were still in use. Great 2 night stay and fully refreshed. Staying at Craiglands and seeing Debbie and Ian is like visiting old friends (well not that old!)
WONDERFULLY Victorian but MODERN (probably why there is no Aspidistra!) Spotlessly clean, fantastic rooms, fantastic breakfast and what to say about the owners? Fantastic? Deb and Ian obviously put their hearts in to making everyone's stay special and something to remember and are a mine of information of what to do and where to go. Do not know why anyone would choose anywhere else in Llandudno to stay. Can not recommend it highly enough.
I have stayed at several B&B's in this area of Llandudno but this one is undoubtably the best. Great hosts Ian and Debbie made me very welcome as xmas approaches with mulled wine or tea/coffee and mince pies on arrival. Small double room for one was spotlessly clean and I could not think of one useful accessory that was not present in the room to meet a guests needs. Nice fluffy towels and shower. Great bed and plenty of pillows. The huge selection of dvd's in a bookcase on the landing is a great alternative to watching TV soaps. Great breakfast served between 8.30 and 9.30 and unlike the others in the area you are not asked to submit your cooked breakfast selection the previous day. My big dislike is metal teapots and jugs and again unlike the others you get a proper teapot at craiglands. If you like your fruit at breakfast then there is a freshly prepared fruit salad which is chopped fine enough to put on your muesli, weetabix, whatever. This B&B which I have been wanting to try for awhile is going to be my first choice from now on. …
Full of lovely little touches from the minute you walk in. Very warm welcome, beautiful room, and great breakfast. Location is perfect. Very close to the promenade and local amenities. Would not hesitate to stay here again.
We booked a last-minute overnight stay in Llandudno, and were blown away by two things: one was the wind on the seafront, and the other was the degree of hospitality offered here. Debbie and Ian were so lovely, even advising us ahead of arrival about a local event that might cause travel disruption. They were able to suggest several places to visit and made us feel really welcome. The room was warm and well-furnished, with a comfortable (four-poster!) bed and a medium-sized smart en suite. As it was a short stay we didn't use the guest lounge or DVD library, but the cooked breakfasts (one a veggie option) were delicious and the coffee excellent. The location, a short walk along the promenade from the centre, meant that it was a little quieter, and although on-street parking was popular it was also free. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again!…
We have stayed at Craiglands before, met on arrival by the lovely Debbie. Debbie remembered us from last year and made us feel immediately welcomed. The guest house is spotless, with lovely little extras which makes it a home from home. The breakfast cooked by Ian is second to none, local produce and lots of choice. Debbie and Ian have a wealth of information about the Llandudno area, walks and eateries. Lovely welcoming couple, would recommend staying at Craiglands if your planning to stay at Llandudno or surrounding area.
A great welcome from Deb set the standard for a very enjoyable stay. Clean comfortable room with good decoration and lots of little touches to ensure a pleasant stay. Great recommendations for local food. Very enjoyable breakfast with a good variety of items to choose from and all good quality, tasty stuff. Very friendly couple who clearly know how to run a successful B&B.
Second time my friend & I have stayed at Craiglands. So pleased to be in Room 1 again, large twin room, very comfortable beds. Once again Ian cooked a delicious breakfast. Ian & Debbie made us feel very welcome. (Thanks for your help with the footpaths, we did see a seal pup!)
We have just returned after 2 nights at Craiglands. We booked right at the last minute and stayed in a lovely twin room. The beds were very comfortable and the room also had 2 seats for watching TV. The hosts were lovely they took the time to get to know their quests and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was of good quality and vegetarian options were available. If we are ever back in the area again this would be our first choice. Thank you Deb and Ian.
