Before arrival we received a call saying booking.com had double booked our room - she went out of her way to resolve the problem and our room was available. It’s a bed and breakfast rather than hotel. However no signs of any breakfast. We hadn’t realized breakfast wasn’t included until we went down in the morning and rang the bell, but nobody was around to help/offer us breakfast if we paid. There was a breakfast room but nobody else eating breakfast. I can’t comment on the proprietors as we never met them. The keys were left for us to pick up, and on leaving there was again no response to the bell but a guy did open the door and took the key when I knocked. The family room was small but fine - expensive at £130 with no breakfast but I guess that’s Covid prices. Good location, with easy parking in the carpark opposite.

Its Jan I remember your booking we are a B & B & all our bookings are subject to availability at the time of booking! You booked for 3 adults @ £130 per night bank holiday week on booking.com minus commission that was very cheap! WE DO NOT ADVERTISE BREAKFAST ON BOOKING.COM breakfast can be booked on arrival at the property at an extra charge of £7 50 per adult & £5 per child.Your booking stated you would arrive between 3pm and 4pm you arrived much later so we left you a key! It was your choice to arrive later, check in is 3pm each day!I met all three of you on the stairway & no questions were asked! thankyou

Under different Management since we visited last and the place is still kept well and the people running it are most pleasant. There was a big problem with a water leakage when we arrived but they did their best to sort it, Also the wifi didnt work but again another address was found. One thing i would say is most places we stop at give toast with the cooked breakfast and also more than 2 half slices . Just small things like more toast without asking but it is a small point. Also when i book through Booking.com i was told breakfast was included in the cost only to find i had to pay £7.50 each per day. That was very annoying

My husband and myself have just returned from a lovely little weekend break away. We couldn’t have chosen a lovelier place to stay. Both Sharon and Andrew are such lovely and welcoming hosts. The hotel itself is in an excellent location with the shops and seafront just a couple of minutes walk away. Our room was lovely, clean and comfortable. The breakfast, well what can we say. Cereal, croissants, yoghurts and a full English of course. Would we stay again? Most Definitely.

The room was comfortable, spotless and perfect. Brekkie was huge and cooked to perfection. Andy & Sharon are friendly hosts and we will definitely visit again.

We stayed here 7th and 8th July 2019 and had a fabulous break. We were very well looked after and breakfast was to die for. Lovely full English. There were cereals, toast, yoghurts so lots to choose from. The room was lovely, bright, clean and fresh. Our room was no. 3. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for a lovely break and we will be back.

Ideal location to walk into town. Friendly owners, clean, quiet and comfortable accommodation. Only downside - breakfast not available until 8am - an hour too late for my needs. However, owner offered to make up a breakfast bag. Much appreciated (and consumed daily!) but not the same. So, would certainly stay again if on a leisure visit but unfortunately not when on business.
