Excellent accommodation, rooms were spotless. Our hosts Margaret & Bob are so welcoming and Bob does a mean breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble, and the biggest plus for me was that it has it's own car park, which saves a lot of time finding a space on the road for your car. It is situated close enough to the...

We had a nice big 4 poster room at the front of the hotel. The hotel was clean and halfway between the North and West shores. Breakfasts were ok but I didn't like the sausages (they tasted like they'd been deep fried from frozen) nor the fact you had to cook your own toast 1 piece at a time. Very...

We have visited The Lansdowne on three or four occasions and again last weekend. Each time we have found it to be excellent. Bob and Margaret are welcoming hosts, the hotel is spotlessly clean, the beds very very comfortable and there are five star breakfasts. It is well placed for walking round the town, the Great Orme and local restaurants....

Our 3rd stay at the lovely Lansdowne, and as good as previous visits. Again, we were a large group and had a variety of rooms. All rooms clean, warm and beautifully decorated with super soft towels and robes along with a select of toiletries. Plenty of tea and coffee (and biscuits) in rooms too. Bob and Margaret continue to up...

Our third visit to the Lansdowne. A clean comfortable hotel in a very good situation near the Gt Orme. The breakfasts are excellent with a good choice and enough to set you up for the day! scrambled and poached eggs are beautifully cooked (I'm a bit fussy about eggs) and the dining room is spacious and elegant. There is a...

It was a wet cold day when we arrived at the hotel and although we were a little early we were made very welcome. How nice to be offered tea and biscuits in the lounge after unpacking. The room was lovely, well decorated and with everything you could need for your stay. Crisp white linen and a really comfy bed...

Excellent Hotel, professional, friendly, very clean and comfortable with excellent breakfasts. This is our fourth visit and we have booked a return visit next year. Compares well with a five star hotel we stayed in in Switzerland.
