After reading some of the nasty reviews about the Broadway,, I felt as if we must be in the wrong hotel…it was fabulous ! It has been completely refurbished and decorated to a very high standard and it was spotlessly clean. We were made to feel very welcome and for £8 extra per night our dog could stay with us. Our room had everything we needed, tea, coffee, milk , shower gels, hand soap, lovely thick white towels and pristine bedding. Breakfast was only £10 per person with a good selection of fruit, cereal and yogurt plus a full English..or Welsh , which was very filling. There is free street parking at night, until 10 a.m but we chose to use one of the hotels three parking spaces. The only problem for some would be the lack of disabled access, but the steps up to the hotel does have grab rails. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly return. Even the dog enjoyed it as he was given a sausage each morning and was allowed to sit in the bar with us while we had breakfast. Huge thanks to the Boss and staff for a perfect stay with no complaints at all.

Stayed at the Broadway hotel recently for a weekend with my wife and we were presently surprised with what we got.
The room was basic but clean and comfortable. Ross the hotel manager was very friendly and helpful and the rest of the staff went out of their way to ensure that we had a great stay.
The hotel is in a very convenient location in the town centre and only a few minutes walk from the train station.
The breakfasts were excellent, great choice and freshly cooked, with unlimited tea or coffee to set us up for the day.
Will definitely be going back.

Just got back from a stay over Christmas,

The hotel is a nice location near the centre and about 100yds from the beach, the superior room are really nicely decorated to a good standard and a lovely big room with nice view out , the bar area was nice and comfortable and open throughout Christmas too, the breakfast was nice and even catered for my gluten free missus without any hassle (we did advise them about this before arrival)
Pets are allowed too so ted the dog was happy and comfortable.

I would also give a big thank you to ALL the staff, they help carry the bags , open the doors for you , they were lovely and VERY HELPFUL with any minor requests like extra pillows etc , I would also praise the manager for a very nice little touch of giving the guests staying over Christmas a present and card on Christmas day , this was a very nice touch to a great stay.

As a family group of all ages everyone enjoyed the hotel, staff and food .

And the price doesn't reflect the quality service .

The hotel is in a great location. The few staff we interacted with were friendly (although we didn't see many about)

Lobby and entrance were clean and presentable. Fresh towels, beds made, bins emptied and teas and coffees (no spoons for stirring) refilled, daily. TV and WiFi worked.

Room 207 was a good size. And clean (mostly)… sadly the shower head was half brown, some areas of the carpet, doesn't seem to have met a vacuum for some time. The double bed was so uncomfortable! All the pillows were clean.

The extension lead cord put out for a lamp was a tripping hazard, and some screws on the floor were raised or loose.

We found litter and food under the beds and furniture. Our door hadn't been closed/locked after a housekeeping visit.

Curtains/ blinds were dirty and not fully attached, and there wasn't really anywhere suitable to put our clothes.

The hotel itself was pretty quiet, (this room is directly facing the premier inn and there was a lot of noise coming from there).

We expected the facilities to be basic, but quality of the room and it's fittings and fixtures were below basic even for a budget hotel and at £100 per night, the standard should have been better.

Arrived in a group of four women for one nights stay, where we had all booked separate rooms, received key for Room 308, that's where the positive's end, I would not have given this room out for free, had to go to reception as no phone in room to ask for the bed to be changed as there was vomit on the mattress protector, this had been covered over with a white towel to try to disguise it, two members of staff attended room bed changed told no more mattress protectors so could they put a blanket on the bed instead. Bed was remade. Going through the room curtains had food or some other unknown running down the edge of them, there was a stain on the carpet which was something that had been spilt or left by a human, no bulbs in light fitting above KETTLE, no phone, no chair, door was damaged from punch mark, hole in bathroom wall behind door, all tiles in bathroom on floor smashed and covered with cut up pieces of matting, no plug for sink, hook for hanging up clothing hanging off wall, wall in bathroom covered in damp, sky light smashed in bathroom. Then to top it off I was informed the third floor was being used by the homeless an agreement with the hotel and the council due to Covid, it now became apparent that the room had been emptied of everything as this was being used by a homeless person, who had probably been kicked out that day. Under no circumstances as a woman on my own should I have been put on this floor let alone in the disgusting room I was given. I went back to reception and was told they were lovely people, when I asked about the comment that had been made about the homeless and was told that my room was safe, I asked if there was another room but was told there were no other rooms the hotel was full. I told them I was not going to stay in that room as I did not feel safe and its condition and I doubled up with one of the other members of our party, (room not much better). They did reimburse my money, but our party should have been informed of the circumstances with the setup of this hotel before we arrived, we had booked this in 2019 and they did stand by those original rates but they then decided to tell me they now rent this particular room out for £ 75.00 per night. We decided not to stay for breakfast. We have now just been informed by Booking.com that the hotel has advised them that we did not turn up, it is because of this comment I have decided to put this on trip advisor as I cannot believe the nerve.

Hotel is 5 min walk from sea front. Shops and restaurants close by. Parking at railway station at a cost of £2.00 for 12 hours is a bargain and only 5 minute walk away. Room was large and clean and good shower. Breakfast was excellent. Staff friendly. Lift also available.

The hotel is old fashioned and looks a little worn if I'm honest. But the room was clean and the bed was comfy. There's no lift so be prepared if you have heavy cases.

The guy on the front desk was very pleasant and helpful and even helped us find a free parking space. That's the main issue - there's no parking so you have to find one yourself. Most you have to pay for, but there were a few free spaces not far from the hotel and we managed to grab one. Otherwise, you'll have to pay. However, this seems to be the case with most Hotels in Llandudno, parking is at a premium.

We stayed for one night at the Broadway hotel. We paid £85 plus £8 per the dog. £93 for the night was on the higher end of what we would expect for a two star hotel.

Booking.com classifies this as a 3 star but we would say it's more of a 2 star. We were given a good size room with a couch, double bed and small toilet. The location was excellent and is right next to loads of shops, restaurants and the beach. We were also able to check in about 30 minutes early, which we really appreciate.

Regarding the rooms, the carpets are tired, the bathroom is very worn, with marks on the bathtub. There was also one small bin in the toilet which is only really big enough for sanitary products.

However the room was clean and the bedding was comfy.

For a two star hotel it was good. However please bare in mind that this is a two star hotel. The location was excellent but furniture was worn.

Beware stalker owner. We had booked two superior rooms 7/7 just for one night arrived at the hotel checked in and got given a key for the front if we was late back which I thought was great but how wrong was I.

We went out 4 x grown adults over the age of 30 went into town had a few drinks and were back at 23.00 went up to our room got changed and went downstairs outside for a smoke to respect the hotel policies. On going back into the hotel the owner was there and what happened next was unreal I was told 20 minutes then I had to go to bed, really a 42 year old man being told its nearly my bedtime did he forget he gave me a front door key if I was late back. So both couples went upstairs to one room finished our drink and was going to go back outside for a cigarette only to be greeted by the owner again stood on the landing. We wasn't disruptive or loud as there was other guest. We then proceed downstairs to go outside and he followed by the time we got back upstairs he was there yet again waiting. I could understand if we was being very loud but we wasn't. It was so degrading on how we were treated everywhere we went he popped up from nowhere. I got up for breakfast and he never mentioned anything from the night before.

If you want a stalker experience hotel I would definitely recommend the broadway way but if you want a relaxing night away avoid like the plague, the bar is poorly stocked about 4 bottles of spirits to choose from and next to nothing on draft the pictures on the site are very old as the building is now grey the rooms are completely different to the pictures as well.

The only good thing about the hotel was the location as all amenities were very close by, but for the money it costs I would definitely be staying somewhere else .

We stayed in a family suite with two separate bedrooms and an en-suite, with views to the front and rear. The room sizes were great, the beds were comfortable and the staff were lovely. The decor to the rooms was not great and the taps were loose, but there were signs that the hotel was being renovated, so hopefully this was a work in progress. We felt that if a mini fridge was provided to the room then this would be beneficial, as our children like to have milk before bed and first thing in the morning and there was nowhere to cool it. Also, the bath towels were very small so we ended up having to use the beach towels we had brought with us. The standard breakfast was small compared to what we have had elsewhere (only 1 slice of bacon, 1 sausage etc), but we found that if we asked for more, or a different combination, eg beans on toast for the kids, there was no quibble and they just brought us what we wanted, so don’t be afraid to ask. One thing to note is that when we booked, it said that the family suites were not services by the lift, but ours was, so this must depend on which floor you are on, so you may be ok. Overall, I think we would stay here again, as good value family suites are hard to come by, but we would take our own towels and hopefully the renovation works would be further along by then.
