Excellent service from every member of staff we encountered in the hotel. They went out of their way to assist in any requests. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The location is perfect for the train into London and for local amenities.

The hotel and staff were alright. The food however was a different story.the breakfast was the usual food poor quality sausages. I do feel we were the economy that’s. No big deal it Wes acceptable the evening meal was awful. I am unsure what the other guests were having , we were not to mix. I have not had such food from other such chain hotels. Perhaps I am being harsh but the food let this hotel down badly.

This is the 2nd time I have stayed in this hotel for a business meeting and on the whole this stay was way superior to my previous visit. I have a number of food intolerances which I am used to giving to hotels and them being ignored. Not here, when I arrived in the restaurant for my evening meal, the catering manager talked me through everything that was on the buffet and how it was cooked. Rather than there only being one thing I could eat there was a selection. Other reviews have singled out Sue in the restaurant and her service is an absolute credit to the brand. Bar prices were exceptionally reasonable by hotel standards. Only issue was that I needed to have a room with a bath for accessibility reasons. On my first morning, there was no bath plug and the lack of grab rails and non slip bath made me quite anxious showering. A replacement was provided very quickly but didn’t provide a good seal so the bath didn’t fill up. However in the wider scheme of things this was a good stay

Comfortable bed, and great service from all staff especially Sue in restaurant at breakfast, very pleasant, friendly and always smiling. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Breakfast food was good, eggs cooked to order.

The time I spent at the hotel was amazing due to Vicky and Ellie they where really friendly and supportive when I asked a question but my experience was ruined due to another member of female staff that ran in abruptly was loud a crude my experience from there on of that evening was spoiled as you are a four start hotel and the manner of that staff member should not be allowed this isn't the first in counter of her behavior I experienced the same 2 months ago burping in co workers faces but everyone deserves a chance but I don't think this is the only occasions that I or other would have experienced I do look forward to staying again due to the girls and chef going out his way to make something not on the menu

Standard chain hotel, nice large room with comfy bed and decent bathroom. Only minor gripe was shower over the bath which I'm not a fan of. Much prefer a shower cubicle, but that's just me. Oh, can you please sort your TV out. I think I had 6 or 7 freeview stations max. There was "no signal" for the rest. Wasn't an issue for me as I have a number of options on my laptop. But annoying all the same. Check in was smooth, the reception staff were superb and are a credit to the hotel. My hairdryer wasn't working, within 30 minutes there was a knock on the door and a gent with a replacement. Bar staff were also fab and the food in the restaurant/bar was pretty decent. Not Michelin 5* but not bad. All in all, a decent hotel close to town centre and train station and I guess a cheaper option for anyone wishing to visit London.

Absolute disgusting rip off of a hotel, they are a 3 star bog standard travel inn and charge £70/£90 average BUT there is a Liam Gallagher concert on in June and what have they done ? Boosted all room prices to £799 a night - How dare they even think thats acceptable to blatantly rip ppl off like that and treat people as mugs ?? £7.99 can get you a week all inclusive holiday in Spain. These lot should be exposed for what they really are -

My wife got very sick with COVID, therefore, we could not make our booking. So 4 days before our arrival date we tried to cancel. Hotel would not refund me or even credit me, there was no understanding at all. Very poor! Avoid!

Stayed here for a football match, one night on8th February. The last time was for the same purpose and significant work was being done but very well managed. I wish I could say the same this time. My colleague and I were rushed due to a late train so what I discovered when I got to the room left me no time to alter. Air Con not working and washbasin taps hardly dispensing water. I mentioned and was offered a room change but had to leave for Boardroom commitments I was told it would be dealt with. Upon return the taps were better but the basin was covered in dirt deposits and the air con still not working. A phone call produced a portable heater! Not the best guys!
