Despite arriving late, due to summertime traffic, we were made very welcome by the proprietor, Yvonne Donoghue. Our room was beautifully clean and comfortable, with everything you could want for any length of stay. The breakfast choices were many and varied - Full English recommended. What a special host Yvonne, at Mariner's is. She has that wonderful talent of making everyone feel welcome and special. Bright and bubbly, she has created a lovely, fresh and bright atmosphere for this traditional B&B which is in a great location backing onto Poole Park. Would thoroughly recommend the mariner guest house lovely warm welcome very clean comfortable room and gorgeous breakfasts nothing was too much trouble will definitely be returning, Yvonne recommended places to visit and even supplied post codes for use with sat nav

i coming for 3 day of my trip in Poole and i stay in this amazing GUEST HOUSE- THE MARINERS ..i m very demanding person and very strait ...if something is wrong ..but i find in this place ..the peace like oasis the service like 5 star hotel and clean is just what i aspect to be in a decent...

Had a wonderful few days with my new partner in Poole, was shown wonderful hospitality at The Mariners Guest house, breakfast was awesome and so was the owner Yvonne. Very knowledgable about the area and what activities where taking place. Would recommend, will definitely be returning here.

I have never before experienced such rude and aggressive behaviour in a B & B or hotel. We arrived at 8'pm - which is hardly late - to find the,place deserted. We phoned the contatct number we had been given but no reply. AFter waiting abiut 10 minutes on the doorstep, the host turned up. instead of apologising, she started...

Perhaps you might be thinking of staying in one of the (overpriced) hotels in Poole or Sandbanks. It may be that you are not wanting: A genuinely warm welcome A very high standard of cleanliness and decorative order A good bed (not forgetting the pillows!) An excellent breakfast and great conversation with Yvonne and the other guests. If so, then...

Stayed a week here and absolutley loved it. Rooms were very clean, well looked after. Same with the dining room along with a lovely full cooked breakfast in the morning. Couldn't fault it, the hosts are amazing. You're always well looked after by them; safe, happy and no issues. Location is perfect as well. Close to everything you could want...

A lovely clean B and B, Yvonne a great host and nothing too much trouble. Close to Poole park and local amenities. Food excellent good choice. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. All in all very enjoyable stay. Thanks Yvonne for making us welcome we'll be back 😆

Very comfortable , ultra clean and neat Showers nice and hot and bed really good for sleeping Excellent breakfast too good for the start of a day Can t fault it really In a handy bit of parkstone for sandbanks too
