I visited the mount with family to celebrate my sisters 30th birthday today. We had a 2 hour spa session followed by afternoon tea about 13 of us so it was a large group. Our waitress was very reluctant to get us any more drinks or even a jug of water. She didn't come round to check if we were...

Beautiful Georgian manor house with sweeping staircase. Lift access available. Room: Deluxe bedroom with decent space. Large bathtub and separate waterfall shower. Camp bed and travel cot for children....

We spent our wedding night here in September, we approached the hotel and felt it was very grand and beautiful. We had champagne waiting for us on ice which we sipped from the hot tub on our veranda. Our room was lovely, warm and welcoming, and the bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in. Breakfast was delicious, a...

I have been to the hotel on two occasions, as you approach the hotel it does indeed look elegant and in keeping with the wonderful surrounds, I'm afraid that's where for me the first class experience ended, I always gauge my impression on customer service and how staff interact and look after you , no one was particularly interested, food...

My wife and I visited the hotel on Sunday for afternoon high tea. It was exceptional. Served in a cosy and stylish lounge with a lovely atmosphere, the tea consisted of finger cut sandwiches, scones and cakes, pot of tea of course. Staff were wonderful and attentive but not overpowering and the whole experience is one to remember. a great...

Afternoon tea was bought as a present, and a very nice present it was. Lovely setting, food and service. Olde worlde feel complete with a crochet lawn. If you want to walk around the grounds, bring some hiking boots.

Rolling up to the hotel was one of those "Yay!" moments when you realise you made the right choice of hotel. I needed a hotel to stay in on the way to a family reunion and I thought I'd treat myself; when you're spending a reasonable amount of money, you worry that the extra cost might come from intangible but...

My then fiancé/now husband and I stayed here on a pre wedding deal in October 2014. Lovely hotel and spa with first class service at both dinner and afternoon tea not had a chance to go back but would love to. Spent a day relaxing in the spa but also drove to take the steam train to Minehead another day.
