Beth was lovely & polite ... found us a room when we weren't expecting it as we had arrived early, nothing was to much trouble for her ..... the room was spotless and lovely and quiet, food at the Beefeater next door was lovely as always.

Easy to find off junction 25 M5. When a tired idiot checks in,the super receptionist Sam sorted out my problems.Good old fashioned service with humour.I was given a ground floor room due to disability with a bad back.Thank you.

Booked this hotel as we were visiting family. Clean room with good beds for all, free WiFi which with kids is must these days. Had breakfast at the Beefeater next door, good value for money. Lots of car parking and friendly staff on reception.

How far is it walking to town centre and also the racecourse.
Hi there Thanks for your query. It's about 2 miles to the town centre, so would take around 40 minutes to walk. To the racecourse it's about 2 and a half miles, so about a 50 minute walk. Regards Amy Premier Inn Team

Hi Wendy We're located around 2 miles away from the town centre so this takes around 40-45 minutes to walk. Our Taunton Central North hotel is half a mile closer to the town centre so takes 30 minutes when walking. I hope this helps. Samantha

"Ask for 1st floor"
"Ask for a room away from the road and the car park, and not on the ground floor."
"The rear rooms at the back of the hotel would be a good choice as cooler in this extreme hot weather"
"No lift up to the 2nd floor. That would only be a problem for people with disabilities or large suit cases."
"Remember to bring your fans with you in the summer. It's too hot inside the rooms."
