The welcome was good ,very clean but a little tired on the bedroom decorating WiFi was very poor in fact in room 14 it is nonexistent, they even gave us the use of a booster which didn’t work if I had a pound for ever time Wendy said it would be fixed she would have been paying me to stay.Shower was difficult to balance on water temperature and there was no warning signs to indicate very hot water.Breakfast was nice but too early this I think was so Paul could go to work because he was out the door at 8.30 most days.

This hotel is in a fantastic location, a 5-10 minute stroll to the clock tower. As we were only in Skegness for one night we didn’t spend much time there but it was everything we needed. Wendy and Paul were very welcoming and friendly. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was comfy and the shower hot. Breakfast was lovely with a good selection to choose from. It was a bit too early for me especially on a Sunday after a night out (8:15-8:45) so I’d probably book room only next time but that is just personal preference. I can see why this place has such good reviews on TA and it is also reasonably priced so I’d strongly recommend it.

We have recently stayed at the Saxby. We was greeted by Paul and Wendy on arrival, who were very friendly and pointed out where the best bars etc to go to. The room was really pretty and smelt so lovely. Breakfast was superb We will definitely come back with bells on...Huge thank you.

A great venue, excellently hosted by the delightful Paul and Wendy. I stay here regularly for business purposes and always look forward to going back. Paul and Wendy will always go the extra mile for their guests, nothing is too much trouble. Then add to boot, a great full English breakfast (perfect fried egg!) Lovely rooms, comfortable beds and a great location, what's not to like. Thanks guys and see you soon!

Stayed for two nights in a ground floor twin room. Was able to check in three hours before regular check in time which was a bonus and was greeted by the owners on arrival. Very welcoming and made sure we had all the info we needed for our stay. Room and bathroom were spacious for what we needed and the room was really well kept. Location of the hotel is ideal as it is a 5 minute stroll into the town centre. Loved my stay here and would 100% stay again.
