Came last year on my own for 1 weeks break.Liked it so much my daughter paid for a week for me this month. Lovely welcoming people.Feel like I have known them all my life! I can't put my finger on what makes this hotel such a gem. Jackie and Alan are naturals..Good listeners,kind,caring people who go the extra mile for all their visitors.Arrive as guests,but leave as firm friends . My daughter visits here 3 to 4 times a year and has done since they took over this guest house a few years ago. The rooms are like home from home. Comfy bright and with the little home comforts of shower gel and refreshments.Nice flat screen on the wall for those not so nice weather days. Breakfast? Best I have ever tasted.Cereals,full English and toast and juice and hot drinks also provided.Enough not to need anything for the rest of the day. A lovely lounge area to mix with other guests and discuss the days activities Very fixable friendly.ground floor rooms and parking right outside the door. What more could you want? Alan and Jackie are lovely hosts so welcoming and friendly , myself and Karen love every moment of staying here , more great recommendations for places to visit and places to eat. Jackie and Alan spoilt us with their friendly attitude, nothing was too much for them. The hotel was beautifully decorated very clean, beds comfortable. Also an added benefit was that they have parking spaces. Definitely worth a stay.

5. The whole experience of my first visit to the Rufford Hoel was excellent. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was very good. The hotel having its own parking was a bonus. I will definitely try to rebook at this hotel when I visit SkegVagas again
