Me and my partner stayed in room 1 for 4 nights Location- Location is great just enough off from the pier to get away from the hustle and bustle but also close enough that its only a 5 minute walk to the beach and entertainment Room- Room was very neutral which overall isn't a bad thing just lacked a touch of personality, very small TV and no en suite which can be abit of an annoyance if you are used to staying in a premier Inn or in a hotel with a on suite, we did however have a private bathroom outside of our room. Breakfast- The quality of the breakfast was great no complaints there infact one of the best breakfasts I've had in a hotel. However breakfast is for a very limited time from 8.15 to 9.15 so this is bad in two ways, firstly if you are a holiday goer who prefers a lay in it could be a problem, also if you like privacy, every room will be cramped into a nice but small dining room around the same time. I feel this could have been avoided even keeping an extra half hour for breakfast times. Overall- Me and my partner had a great time in Skegness it really is worth a visit and if you want a reasonably cheap hotel the Fountaindale is a great choice. It's clean, good hosts and nice breakfasts. But if you like the convenience of enough suite and a more relaxed breakfast and restaurant on site. It would be better staying in a premier inn

Firstly thank-you for your honest review of our guesthouse, we are pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. Unfortunately Room 1 is the only room that does not have an En-suite bathroom. It is as you pointed out just 2 steps from the bedroom and private and lockable. This is the room that was reserved by you although we do have larger rooms that are En-suite available when booked far enough in advance. Our breakfast time is an hour to allow everyone ample time to come down-as we are a small guesthouse we cannot accommodate an hour and a half service as this would mean the food would not be fresh and would be hot held as is done with a Premier Inn and larger hotels. Also it would mean that we would have guests still eating breakfast at 10am when that may be their check-out day and our check-out starts at 10am. I appreciate that not having a bar and an on-site restaurant is a downfall for some guests and in this instance we would be happy to recommend larger hotels that do have all of this, we are a small guesthouse and do not advertise as a hotel due to the fact everything here is done in house by just the owners. Kind Regards Gemma

We Went to this Hotel, and were met by one of the Owners Gemma who Greeted us, after seeing us to our Room 9, she explained everything we needed to know, the Room had 2 Single Beds, the decoration and the Shower room was Fabulous. Free Parking was Good, Breakfast was when we met John, who looked after us the Breakfast choice was excellent, where the Hotel is Sighted it is only a 10 minute from the Beach and Plenty of Entertainment , with Plenty of Fish and Chip Restaurants at good Prices. As well as Plenty of Pubs, the Pleasure Beach has everything the Kids would want. A Great Couple Looking after the needs of their Clients, We Went round the corner to a Fab Italian, Tarantino. Not to be missed.
