I have spend here two nights with my family. Our stay was absolutely pleasant. The location is fine, close to the beach. Breakfast was great. Well made standard English breakfast. The place is clean, neat and friendly. The hosts are the bests. So friendly, giving so great customer service. Mick is a gentleman who remembers guests by name. Our hosts were even attentive to provide little toys for the bath for our 3 years old son and Winnie the Pooh shape plate for the breakfast. Family friendly. I recommend. Kinga

I stayed here in order to visit nearby family. I'd struggled to find anywhere with available rooms with reasonable prices - and I have to say - the prices are reasonable! I had a lovely, comfortable room, quite spacious and well appointed with an en-suite. Breakfasts were really good, piping hot and they were more than happy to cater for my wheat and dairy intolerance - providing gf bread, gf cereal, gf sausages and Almond milk. The hosts are lovely people, very chatty and amusing and so very helpful! Mick explained in detail how to walk to a local Indian restaurant he recommended; he also carried my suitcase up and down the stairs as I have chronic back problems. I would definately book here again!

Had a great stay at thornwell villa, got a message a few days before arrival to check what time I'd be arriving ..got there and check in was smooth and easy. Mick who you see all the time is very nice and chatty and will go above and beyond. I had a single room and it was clean, tidy, nicely decorated. And had everything you would expect from a b and b .. shared bathroom was easy. I know it's not some peoples cup of tea but there is a separate toilet and then a bathroom with a shower and another toilet. So never had to wait for the toilet or use of the bathroom. Shower was spot on also. Breakfast was fantastic. Great selection of cereals and then the full English was great to, I could of done with 3 of everything but I'm a big lad !!! Toast also or Bread and butter.. All in all a lovely stay .. would deffo stay again and recommend to anyone .

We regularly stay at Thornwell Villa, because of the friendly welcome, clean rooms, delicious food and excellent location. A few minutes walk from the pier on a quiet street with plenty of parking and Mick and Yvonne are lovely hosts.

Just returned from our annual week’s stay at Thornwell with Mick and Yvonne. In these troubled times we wondered how things would be. We needn’t have worried. Everything just fine. As usual, food fantastic, cleanliness impeccable, service spot on. Would recommend without hesitation to anyone, location only minutes from pier and attractions. Would never think about going elsewhere in Skegness. Malc and Kath
