Made a booking with this hotel, Queen bed apparently nicely decorated and was just for a night away. How misleading when booking on hotels.com. The room was like a prison cell, wallpaper hanging off walls, filthy and bed was a small double. The hotel stunk of cannabis and we looked out of place. Theywhere painting and drilling at 7pm on a night. Would not recommend to anyone....

Terrible hotel..Living room-dirty floors, dirty windows with bird poo & cobwebs on,window wouldnt close & curtains n rail fell off when trying to open them.Cups were chipped n stains all over unit where kettle was.The bed bases were all ripped & used tissue down the back of bedside cabinets.Bathroom-net on window didnt fit & could see into bathroom, bath mat all stained n had a dirty plastic chair to sit on..Went out for few hours(in the rain),came back to find roof leaking & floor n bedding soaking wet..had enough by this time & went & asked for another room..got allocated another room which wasn't much better..hubby went to toilet & seat lid came off in his hands & toilet cistern lifted right up when it was flushed.Been in plenty basic b&bs before but this was the worst ever..needs closing down & refurbished. The only decent thing is its in a good location but very very disappointed in hotel

Not as bad as some reviews state, really nice young man on reception, nothing was to much trouble, owner seemed nice, always spoke when saw him..avoid the long, dark haired lady, looks like she's chewing a wasp, miserable and shouldn't be in that line of work. First room unacceptable, but was moved within ten minutes (lift out of order, so was unsuitable on the top floor)..lovely view from our allocated room, overlooked mini golf/crazy golf, with Seaview in the distance, great location with shops, arcades, pubs and eateries near by.

OK so the hotel (b & b) itself is in a poor state...desperately needs fixing up. And was a bit smelly. The bedroom itself was cleanish, but I'd taken my own cleaning stuff with me after reading the reviews. The bedding was about the only thing that was clean. They clearly don't have a dustpan and brush or a hoover. The TV was more like a computer monitor and was literally hanging off the wall on a slant. As for the fire safety, thank god there wasn't fire or we'd be dead. The fire escape wasn't shut the whole time we we're there and the route out onto the roof was deadly on its own. All.i can say is the owners clearly don't care about the place as long as they're taking money. would not go back and definitely would not stay there with children.

This hotel was booked as a last minute resort after our original bnb kicked us out after loosing electricity, if I’m honest with you I wish I just went home and didn’t waste a £120 on the room. The main problem I had was our baloney door, when we walked in it was wide open and when we tried to shut and lock it, it wouldn’t lock. So in order to feel safe and have our stuff secure we had to wedge the sofa against the door. This isn’t something you should have to do when staying at a hotel, or when you pay £120 for it! I didn’t sleep at all during my stay as I was scared someone would break in. The bed frame has a massive hole in the bottom of it, the toilet seat wasn’t attached to the toilet, the sound the taps made when I tried to have a bath was disturbing, there was dead bugs all over, my pillow was yellow, the ceiling was peeling, and the whole building had a weird smell of mould or damp. I feel like I’d the owner actually put some care and attention into their rooms and their building, this would be such a lovely place to stay.
