We stayed at Park Cottage recently when we were going to a wedding in Dedham. All the previous comments are well deserved, pretty and comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast and wonderful hosts who couldn't do enough, even to offering to drive us to the wedding when the taxi was late! Well worth a visit and fantastic value.

A delightful small Essex cottage. Clean and beautifully kept. The hosts could not do enough for us. Very convenient for Beth Chatto Garden, Constable country, and the resorts of Frinton and Walton. A real gem

We stayed here last weekend, following a wedding in nearby Dedham. Perfect for that, only 10 minutes away, and we found our way ok. We had warned our hosts that we would be late arriving, and were greeted on our arrival, after midnight, with helpful courtesy. We had the Blue room, which is next to the Red room, but didn't...

I had the pleasure of staying in this B&B with my young dog. We were both made to feel so welcome, really felt like a home from home. Lovely large double room with private bathroom and lovely touches with toiletries and selection of drinks and biscuits in the bedroom. Lovely fluffy white towels and the bathrobe was a real bonus....

We stayed a night with Janet and Ken before heading off to a family party the following day. Park Cottage is a beautiful timber clad home and the simple red bedroom was clean and comfortable .An old style enamel roll topped bath sat in the bathroom across the landing which was a pleasant change from an electric shower! A cozy...

We stayed here on our way to Harwich ferry port. We were made extremely welcome, the rooms were lovely and Janet was very friendly and accommodating. We were given a good recommendation for a nearby pub for our tea! Would definitely stay here again.

We loved the red bedroom and the roll topped bath in the separate bathroom to relax in Breakfast was delicious Janet very attentive to any request. So lovely to have fresh strawberries and raspberries in November. Our two boys(Cavalier King Charles Spaniels) were made welcome, and a loan of wellingtons from Janet allowed us to explore the walk from Dedham...

As a group we stayed in both rooms. They were extremely clean and had the test quality towels we have encountered for some time. The breakfast cooked by Janet was delicious and served on quality chinaware in a beautifully appointed dining room. Park Cottage also provided a comfortable and private sitting room where we could relax in the evening. Janet...

Lovely, friendly B&B. Only 2 rooms. We had the red room. Very cosy but with separate bathroom. Blue room fresh and bright with en suite shower. Whole place spotlessly clean with pretty garden in summer. Janet and her husband very friendly and helpful. Best cooked breakfast ever. Highly recommended.

This a a clean, warm and friendly venue that I will certainly visit again and would highly recommend. Slightly out of town, the hospitality, quality of the breakfast and booking were fabulous. I do not write reviews normally but am happy to do so for this lovely B&B. JC
