Stayed for one night, arrived early evening and had to leave early the next morning. The hosts were very accommodating and served breakfast for me at 6.30am which seem to be no problem at all to them. The food was delicious and the accommodation was spotless. Amazing value for money - would I stay here again - most DEFINITELY!

I couldn't fault any part of staying here. Friendly host, free high speed wifi, good food and a lovely room with both fan and heater (a useful pairing which most B&Bs omit). Centrally located for Carlisle, Gretna and Hadrians Wall. Highly recommended to anyone wishing to visit the area.

We stopped here for 2 nights on our way through to Gretna to get married, we had a warm welcome when we arrived and ended up having a fab Sunday lunch, we were then taken up to our room, it was stunning and spotless, the 4 poster bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in, Would...

I was stunned by the value for money. I had the big room which was beautiful, clean, and insanely comfortable. The ensuite bathroom was likewise spacious and nice and new. The breakfast was generous, delicious, and had enough options to suit anyone. But the real hero of this place is the host, Johnny. Friendly, accommodating, and extremely welcoming, Johnny made...

What a wonderful establishment. John and his staff were 5 star from start to finish. I had several telephone calls about my planned trip and John was so helpful with advice and general help. It is a real pleasure to tell others of this great place.

Overnight stop on the way down from Inverness. The owner was very hospitable, the room was very clean, tidy and spacious. Breakfast was hearty and this would be my first choice if I had to stay over again doing the same route.

We had 2 nights here and were really looked after. The host, John is such a lovely guy. His breakfast is excellent with local produce and his scones which are baked fresh daily are so tasty. There are just 2 rooms in this wonderful B&B. Very roomy, lovely modern décor and a very comfortable kingsize bed that you wont want to...

Very friendly place to eat. The menu is not very extensive but there is enough choice to suit every taste. The food was very good value for money and reasonably presented. Good stop off if travelling up the A7 with reasonable on street parking outside and nearby.

We have just returned from a 4 night stay and loved every minute of it. The only negative to this lovely b&b is the noise from the commercial traffic that passes, as it is on a main road. Having said that the room was lovely and kept spotlessly clean as was the bathroom! The bed was huge and so comfy....
