I stayed here with my sons while on a skiing trip to lecht. Staff were very friendly, informative and helpful. Offered to dry our wet ski cloths which was appreciated. Room well appointed excellent quality toiletries and coffees etc. Breakfast was amazing very good 4* plus quality, impressive selection of cheeses hams cereals and a good choice of hot food....

I stayed at this charming B&B early this month. Attentive and caring staff, plenty of on street parking, and a recently remodeled bathroom are the pros of this place. Close to Braemar for the annual Braemar Royal Gathering.

Very warm welcome, nice room, and delicious breakfast. The hotel is confortable and well equiped. To stay in an old and real church is completely original. Not far from the Balmoral castle neither than the Royal Lochnagar distillery.

We did not have the pleasure of staying at this darling hotel due to a confusion with our bookings ( completely my doing). The staff went out of there way to help us find accommodations during an extremely busy time. I can't thank them enough, what great Scottish hospitality.

We stayed just one night however we were delighted with the accommodation good size bathroom and the dining room where a great breakfast is served is a beautiful setting. The parking is on street but not at all inconvenient and the owner was very friendly and helpful. We thought the conversion from a former church had been done tastefully and...

We stayed here two nights on a trip from Inverness to Edinburgh. The old church has been converted tastefully and has a cosy and comfortable feel. It was a five minute walk to the centre of town where there was a choice of restaurants and bars. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would thoroughly recommend a stay here.

We really enjoyed our stay at this B&B, it was complete luxury after 2 days of camping. Not only were the rooms modern and clean but the staff were also more than helpful, particularly when they helped me clear away some broken glass from the bottle of prosecco that I managed to drop at my car. The breakfast was one...

We had a great weekend stay at the Auld Kirk. The owners are very welcoming and friendly and serve a first rate breakfast with several options- much more than you would usually expect. The rooms are very nice, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Definitely recommended!

On our recent trip to Scotland, we had the great pleasure of staying at The Auld Kirk Hotel for four nights. Peter, Tony, and Lisa could not have made us feel more welcome. This is a place that pays attention to detail and the accommodations are top notch. The room we stayed in (#3), was roomy and the bathroom was...

Lovely place to stop off on Deeside. The transformation from church to smartly presented B&B/hotel has been tastefully handled. My room was both comfy and had good quality accessories and decor including old pew ends masquerading as bedside tables! A beauty of a breakfast to top it off too.
