Beautiful suite. Bed too hard. Attentive staff. Restaurant Bar lacking atmosphere and menu choice. Ate out the second night at Boat Inn in Aboyne. I would recommend that. Got to book leisure club which is not ideal on a two day hiking trip. I wanted to relax and not be restricted by time scales. This was my biggest grouch. Beautiful setting though and great staff.

We booked a one bedroom suite with a partial kitchen via an RCI exchange. The room was small, but beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. It was so warm we turned the radiators and towel rails off all week, despite the snow outside, and opened the balcony doors at times. It was a bit too warm at night. We used the restaurant three times and everything was lovely. All the staff were cheerful, friendly and efficient. The resort is spotlessly clean and tidy, inside and out. And the spa facilities, children's play equipment and woodland walks are excellent. We look forward to visiting again.

We visited between Christmas and New Year 2021 and I was blown away by the superbly appointed suite and facilities. The staff were light touch and very friendly if we needed anything. The location is wonderful and we had such a peaceful break. The restaurant wasn’t open due to time of year/pandemic, but the lounge was on offer as a dining option and the food was truly delicious with great service. The only thing I would like to have seen was more of a hotel-style late night bar instead of just the lounge, which was not open late, but it did not impact our stay at all.

wonderful setting for the cabins. We had a great stay here for a few days last month. Beautiful cabins only thing missing was the log fire. It was cosy at all times but missed the burning logs. Would definitely recommend staying here to family and friends.

We had a 4 night stay here and loved it. The suite was amazing, big living area / kitchen and bedroom and well featured bathroom. The view was also great. It's a 15 minute or so walk into Ballater, where there are plenty of good places to visit and nice bars and restaurants. Our only gripe was the main restaurant was closed and the only breakfast options were to pre-order a packed breakfast for or room. We just walked into town for breakfast most days, or made our own in the room. it's a lovely spot to visit, i'd recommend it for sure
