Stayed overnight on our return from holiday. Late arrival but everything was waiting for us. Comfy bed, tea making facilities, and a wonderful farmhouse breakfast. Thank you Sharon for making us feel so welcome, we will certainly stay with you next time we are on our way to Manchester Airport

bMy husband and I stopped at Birtles Farm breakfasts were forr bed and breakfast. The breakfasts were very nice and plenty of choice. The only comment is that the on suite area was a little cramped. The shower was big enough but other things were a bir tight. The bed was lovely and comfortable and the host was very pleasant.

Had a lovely overnight stay in this beautiful farmhouse whilst waiting to collect a family member from the airport. A warm welcome with a pot of tea in the residents lounge set the tone. The bedroom was very comfortable and little touches such as the dressing gowns and fittings mean that this B&B punches above its weight. Super tasty and...

Stayed here for one night whilst visiting friends in Manchester. I really can't fault this lovely B&B and its host Sharon. After doing my usual research on Trip Advisor booked through Booking.Com with the minimum of fuss and secured a double room with breakfast for a very reasonable price. We did find Birtles Farm eventually after resorting to using Google...

Excellent value for money. Very friendly, whole place immaculate, loads of character, four star level of decor and room fittings. Good breakfast. Free to leave my car there for a week and £13 taxi to airport. Definitely use again. Note the farm is a mile or so down farm road so keep going after turning off road. Great place.

We recently stayed the night here and was more than happy. It took us a little while finding it but persevere, it's worth it. When turning off the main road you immediately start to go down a farm track...quite a way, arriving in what looks like the cattle yard...a few more metres and the house appears. The appearance overall was...

Booked two nights (a week apart) with car parking and shuttle to the airport. When we arrived, Sharon was friendly. When we found out that she had forgotten to book us in for the second evening, she didn't really apologise and said that she might have to arrange for us to stay elsewhere. However during our absence she managed to...

Stayed at Birtles for one night prior to leaving for Manchester airport. The lane up to the farm is long so enjoy the scenery as you go and you may be greeted by Toby, the sheepdog as you enter the gate headed for the door where a warm welcome awaits. We stayed in Room 2, it was beautifully appointed and...

Normally before going on holiday, we book an overnight stay at an airport hotel including parking. This year we decided to do the same but stay in a private b&b which offered secure parking and transfer to airport. We made a good choice. Our stay was excellent. Clean an oldie worldly room, on this working farm. We had to travel...

Spent two nights at the Birtles Farm B&B- spacious Room # 1- very comfortable bed, with 4 pillows, soft sheets and duvet, soft bathrooms, and fresh flowers. Very small bathroom, with hairdryer, container of bath wash, shampoo, and small wrapped soap. Had to figure out how to turn the hot water for the shower on (there is a hanging pull...
