Kathrina, Leanne were great. Really helpful and accommodating. We stayed for 3 days and it really felt like a home from home. Lovely lounge too, ideal for friends to come and visit with a well stocked bar.
Stayed for one night in Travelodge WGC to see my family for my birthday. Excellent service and you can't get better value for money. The room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. If you come to Welwyn Garden City I highly recommend you try Travelodge.
The customer service from Umair was great, he was knowledgeable and helpful. Some of the staff the next day were unwelcoming. Everything felt clean and looked tidy, the rooms were spacious. Would stay again.
I had very good nights sleep, considering I am not someone who does not sleeps well in unfamiliar surroundings. It was peaceful and quiet in the room and bed was comfy. It was a great bonus that its in the middle of the town center with restaurants and shopping on the doorstep. Kathrina on the reception was amazing and efficient. breakfast service could do with a little improvement as the food ran out in the middle of the allocated time and no fresh fruit variety as advertised.
I met Mr Awesome man, I’m voting him to be the best staff of the Month. Wonderful environment you have got. I will always come back to patronize you guys on a Monthly bases, throughout my stay in Uk. I am a Nigeria who visited UK for the first time.
Great service from George, he was quite helpful in sorting out any issues i had. Smooth check in across days (i had to check in multiple times). The staff was also available during the night to help me out when I had a problem
Needs to have a deep clean . Keep breakfast warm . Staff were very professional. The noise from the toilet flush is well thought it was going to swallow me. The noise outside and in the corridor was very distracting
Good tidy hotel, very pleasant staff, central location in the town centre, nice clean room - it does what it says on the tin. Train station is just a 5 minute walk and there's plenty of places to grab a bite to eat.
Standard double room, comfy bed and surprisingly quiet for a town centre hotel. On entry the room smelt a but musky but looked clean enough. Shower was a nightmare as the drain was blocked. Had a very quick 3 min shower in the evening and the water was still in the shower basin the next morning. Good job we were heading home that day!
Dont stay here if you want to get a good nights sleep, my room looked into a car park wall right next to the train station and I didn’t get to sleep until 1am due to the constant whirring noise of something outside, then I was woken at 5.45 by a very noisy delivery happening outside. Not the hotel’s fault I know but bear in mind it’s position before you stay. Otherwise staff and room ok but won’t rush back.
